that's actually exactly the problem. When you build a bot intended to be oriented perpendicular from how you build it in the lab, it will not be able to turn no matter what you do.
Yep, you have no clue how mad that makes me.
Can a strafe drive system maybe work? Something like a third motor perpendicular to the drive, just like some basic rc cars have.

Here's my current fleet for the AS tournament, including the previous lw.  Powerful HS  Rebuilt Cyborg with the cheaty extenders  Another powerful HS  A fast HS  Good ol Mite  My classic powerful poker  Powerful VS  Swordfish will make an appearance and finally a rebuilt Exploding Bees from when I was working on The Happy Bees  I'm working on a few more lightweights that may get in depending on the tournament. We also should finish restocked...eventually
