Perry did tell me that it was on the to-do list. But that was before he quit. So I dont know anymore.
IF more people actually BOUGHT the game we would probally have a RA3 by now. but no one did so they don't see a point in making another game that wont make money.
maybe ill make a RA3 type game when I retire(in like 40 years) or if I become rich.

the robot arena 1.3 patch fixes this issue.

issue 1: servos are not strong enough to "grab". The opponent can easily slide right out. but I guess they can the way razer is now .
issue 2: AI's tend to be stupid when it comes to servos.

Darkrat tried. Simply, RA2 cannot have effective crushers. If someone can make a crusher and share how they did it we will be more then happy to fix razor. He is my fav robot wars bot too.

no, its not. the matador flips his opponents 6 feet in the air. I have never seen bulldog do that.
it is a good bot, though.

no way. I thought the warhead drivers were clones.
Battlebot robots were better engineered (warhead competed in battlebots, not robotwars)
razor competed in Battlebots too, but got his ass kicked.

sit and spinners are bots that spin in circles to kill other bots-they have spikes around their bot.

the bot exchange is ready to be released to the public. there are a few features that are not done, and may still have a few bugs, but it is now fully functional. Thanks goes out to all the testers. Special thanks to ACAMS, Clickbeetle, Zero Absolute, and TheDisturbedone for all your help and moral support. Starcore has already uploaded the newest version of Alien Queen for all you guys to test out. Notes: It looks best in firefox, and many features require you to have javascript enabled. http://botexchange.gametechmods.com/anyone can download bots, however registering/logging in gives you access to many more features.

The bot exchange now gets the image from the bot file, sees if the robot is Stock or DSL automatically, gets the weight class automatically, and gets the bot name automatically.
There are just a few more things I need to polish up before I release the public beta.
Thanks to everyone that helped.
Sidenote: polish and Polish are spelled the same.

yea, perry was my only connection to get the source code.
I'm sure someone has it(otherwise 1.3 wouldn't have happened) but I/we dont have an inside contact.

me, acams, and hopefully apanx are working on a new bot exchange that will be hosted here on gametechmods.com
some features:
-Automatically takes preview picture from the bot file -Automatically takes Bot name from bot file -Automatically takes Bot weightclass from the bot file
-Ability to sort by weightclass, weapon type, builder, ratings, and downloads
-saves a list of bots that you have already downloaded
- a page with all the bots you have uploaded, along with your overall rating(mean of all the ratings of you bots)
-create a list of bots that you want to download and download them all with one click into a zip file.
-if a bot requires a part that you do not have, you have the option to download it along with the bot.
If you are interested in being a beta tester, please post here and ill PM you a tester code.

I blame ACAMS.
He would not stop bugging Nvidia about the UI glitch... I think they anoyed atari.
and yes, source code would be nice :)

The only way around it is through bot editing. And that is HARD to do.

lol. I have 1.2 terabytes of HD space. The Issue is not HD space, its dialup download time( we care about you guys too  )
The original sounds that came with the game are not include in the DSL package, because you already have them.

OK, anyone who wants to make 100 new announcer comments, go ahead. The current announcer is better than anything I or FB could come up with. FB could make some crazy, silly comments (random stuff like opera singing and Gollum imitations), but nothing serious I don't think. you beat me to it. It Was talked about when we were creating DSL-TC 1.0. But like CB said, it would take a loong time. not to mention the fact that the filesize of the mod would double.
