My concern with the popup is that it goes against the builder's inutition. The only reason it's such a powerful weapon is that you can immobilize a robot simply by scratching your opponent's chassis enough times. Perhaps you could explain how the game mechanics work (especally that touching the other robot with your weapon components is the only way to score points) And as for the screenshot tip, I only brought it up because your last section isntructed people to post their robots to Gametechmods but didn't give any direction beyond that. And are you not annoyed when a new member can't figure out how to take a proper screenshot?

I assume that you're looking for feedback by positng this. I have a little. I'm at a computer where the sound isn't working, so if I'm missing anything important by watching this on mute, I apologize. Anyway: -Text goes way too fast. I pride myself in my ability to speed read, but I only made it through half of each text box in the time you allowed. -Under chassis shaping, it isn't clear that you pressed the "Step 2" button" someone who'd never picked up RA2 would have no idea how to make wedges based on your tutorial. -You touch on stacking batteries, but again someone who'd never picked up RA2 would have no idea how to stack batteries based on your tutorial. -You should have chosen a more conventional type of robot to build as an example, someone who'd never picked up RA2 would have no idea what a popup is. -Paint shop should come after the robot has been tested. If the chassis needs to be reshaped the paint job has to be redone. Also you should show how to make skins outside of Robot Arena 2 - to me nothing is more amateur than a skin done entirely in the bot lab. -You should show how to take screenshots properly because a baffling number of new members don't know how.

1) How are you going to AI the robots to do an obstacle course? Don't say "I will drive them" because right off the bat I can guarantee no one will like that.
2) All the bots are going to have cannons and hovercrafts.

Where'd he get the springs from, just out of interest?
Rubber coated copper wire. If you cut open some electric wire (you can buy it at the hardware store, it's black and about as thick as my finger) you'll see that the inside is actually 3 copper wires and a bunch of filler. The copper wires are nice and flexible.

About 4 days. 2 if it's over a weekend. Big ones like Mechadon take longer though.

Here's Diotoir. I made the fur with some felt and hand-drew the spots.

Ooh, I think that's given us good reason to make NFX a Dark Horse for the tournament, throwing VI over like that! Well done to NFX, and commiserations to Sonny
Thanks for that. I was not very optimistic about this match, I've got a tenouously-stabilized VS against a low-to-the-ground shell spinner, the kind of robot I least wanted to meet. I had a feeling I'd come off the worse from the impact. I thought I'd last longer, but oh well.
That's OK. Still, you want me to try and go for Corkscrew if I meet him in the finals? If it worked on Badnik last time, I'll see if I can avenge you again this time
Hell yeah!

Found a flaw. In the RFA rules, it says if your going to have interchangeable weapons, your bot is weighed with the heaviest additions possible.
Tornado with the shell weighed 102KG. Thus, BY RULE, it should have been disqualified.
Where did you read that it weighed 102 kg's?

We're just in the lull period of video games, same as every year. It's true, most of Nintendo's advertising budget has gone to the 3DS, but come E3 in the summer they'll have plenty of upcoming Wii games

On my work bench right now there's a pair of bloodshot green eyes, two eyebrows, a grinning scoop, some red felt, and two red springs. I think my family is going to be rather creeped out if they go down to my work station, they probably won't know what those things are for.

where is the original 'offended' page T_T
I'd like to be offended
You're not supposed to be offended, the hook was that they say "Go to this page if you were offended by any of the site's content" Before I tell you how to find it, let me just warn you, DON"T LOOK FOR THE "OFFENDED" PAGE. just Google search "Encyclopedia dramatica offended" Some guys cached an old version. DON'T LOOK AT IT

My top 5: 1.Village Idiot 2.Warrior 3.Corkscrew 4.Explosion 5. Tie with with Abaddon, Vortex Inducer and NightStalker
If you're going by chances of winning, you've got me too high. Unless you're going by beauty, in which case I'm not high enough.

I meant that it's just a random website, it's nothing incredibly significant in the grand scheme of things. I don't think my life is superior to anybody's, I just think that getting worked up and upset about a website going down is a little bit daft.
I agree, in the grand scheme of things we haven't lost much. If oyu want to recreate a lost Encyc. Dramatica page, just take anything, link to "sh** nobody cares about" call its fans gay pedophile basement dwellers, and find the grossest Rule 34 you can.

There's only so much you can say about a guy talking with text. Perhaps choose something with visuals on your next commentary.
Also, did you script your commentary or just wheel it off on the spot? You always want to make a script.

Diesector pleeeeeeease. Either that or I'll convince my dad to stop recycling our cardboard...
I know you're going to hate me but I don't like doing sculptures of bots that they made pullback toys for. It makes me feel insecure when I have to compete with a machine-built model (that's also why I don't like doing replicas of bots in DSL or AceUplink's pack). On a case-by-case I might do ones that they made just minibots out of, but only if I feel like the details were compromised by the tiny scale.
