That's not exactly a Blue Moon clone. Blue Moon has a downward-facing bar with no ground contact so it can easily hit bots that are under it. Disturbance is more like TuniT 3 with external wheels. And fortunately not legal in BBEANS Why don't you give it bigger wheels so it can be invertible? Techno wheels are good, but so are a lot of other big wheels. And Jules, it's only getting 10000+ damage hits because it's hitting another powerful spinner. It would be a lot lower if it hit a regular target.

Cool, it's like the same bot, but one's a VS and one's an HS.
I like the VS the most. It would be great if you could angle the plows in a V shape to trap spinners, like Ordo Malleus in BBEANS.

A note: You don't need the 1.3 patch unless you have the CD version of the game and screwy graphics caused by nVidia graphics cards.
Goose, didn't you say Perry isn't with Gabriel anymore so it's impossible to ever get RA2's source code?

i cant find the file. all ive got is RA2.cfz? and i cant open it in notepad, it comes out all screwey. I'm not sure how the game could function without it. But if you really don't have it, here's what it looks like. You can save it as RA2.cfg. [Begin RA2 Config] EventNumBots=4 GraphicDetail=2 GraphicEffects=1 GraphicMessages=1 ArenaIntros=0 SoundVolume=-445 MusicVolume=-445 MusicMuted=0 SoundMuted=0 DefaultCamera=watch UpdateInterval=0.018750 AllowNonStandardMultiplayer=1 [End RA2 Config] [Begin Input Config] device0 = guid 4cb8b0d0 9e7a 11d7 80 1 44 45 53 54 0 0; deadzone 500 device0 = guid a5e224e0 9cd4 11d7 80 1 44 45 53 54 0 0; deadzone 500 [End Input Config] [Begin Graphics Config] 3DHardware=1 FullScreen=1 FSDisplayWidth=800 FSDisplayHeight=600 FS3DDisplayWidth=800 FS3DDisplayHeight=600 BitsPerPixel=32 GfxDetail=1 MagMinFiltering=Linear EnableDepthStencil=1 DepthStencilFormat=D16 DisplayDriver=Default [End Graphics Config] [Begin Multiplayer Config] Port=9791 PlayerName=Mr. Beanjeans [End Multiplayer Config]

How did you ever get the idea for that bot?
All it needs is some weapons and it could be a serious competitor.

Why? What happens in the combat arena?

It's RA2.cfg, in your main RA2 folder. Change AllowNonStandardMultiplayer = 0 to 1.

You can't control it. You just hold down the left or right arrow and watch the show.

Only heavyweights? They look like worthy opponents, but I think you should put in a few LW's and MW's for variety. Or better yet, AW's/BW's since there's only one stock team of those.

I updated the file for Gyratory Revolt. It should work now.

Scratched CD? I can't think of anything else.

The weightclass limits are set somewhere in the exe. You would need the source code to change them, but unfortunately that's never going to be released because RA2's programmer (Perry Board) doesn't work at Gabriel Interactive anymore.

Very realistic looking designs there. I like the wedge with spike strips on the edge, but titanium half sheets aren't the best materials for that. They only have 1400 HP. Nice use of the Overkill wedge though. Deadly Wedge looks nigh invulnerable.

Aha. I think I got the number of rounds wrong in at least one event in DSL, because this one time FB did a 1-on-1 tournament and there were only 2 rounds. Might also explain some mysterious crashes on the Ocean Platform and Compressor. I'll have to do something about that.

Looks nice... but one of the teeth is on backwards :o You're not going to do any damage hitting with the smooth side. Switch that around.
Also it looks like the chassis could be shorter. A smaller chassis means more weight for weapons and armor.

The "Combat Arena" refers to the name of the arena as displayed in the in-game arenas list (this is also in the arena's py under name="Combat Arena"). As for the numbers, I might have known what they do at one time, but I've forgotten now. If I remember I'll post again.
What you can do though, is find a four player event and copy/paste the block of parameters over another event you don't mind getting rid of. Then just change the ID (the first number) to the event you replaced, and anything else like arena, preview, etc. and it should work.

You can also try using the no graphics version of DSL (if you don't want to reinstall, you can copy/paste your graphics from stock RA2 into DSL). This glitch could possibly be caused by something in the teamhq or botlab gib files.

You might be using a firewall and not know it. Antivirus programs for example can have them built in.
What start button is this exactly? The "host game" button or the "start match" button? If it's start match, it might have something to do with the people you are fighting or the bots you are using.

Something a little more compact but effective would be a small wedge on a skirt hinge. Or any sort of wedge really.
