IRW seems like a nice guy to me. Although my darker side is loving every moment of this, people arguing over pointless sh**. *sits back and chillax's*

I love the look fo that bot. You know, if total carnage gets voted in to the tourneys, I'd love it if you entered that

Fair enough then, to put in a better way, it's just how he has come across on the tinterwebz, it's not neccesarily an attack on his actual personality.
Oh, and I never said it would be a flame war, it's just kinda pointless threads like this usually do get SoTG'd from what i've seen.

PMbomb'd. =D Hopefully I can go all the way this time.
Or more likely you're bot will fail, just like the real one ;P Anyway, i'll skin mute sometime this weekend (maybe even today if I can be bothered) and send it to you

Threads gonna get SoTG'd. I agree with JB on this anyway, I doubt anybody was trying to put you down with that, it's just a wiki article after all.

What, did you think that the whole barrel part was attached to a servo or a snapper?
That really wouldn't end well would it.

I don't know where you're getting the clamping part from Oh, and you see those little silver marks on the front. That would be the true popup element

Is it? I don't think i'm that ingenious.
Surely it's a barrel/popup?

I know that, it's more of an alternative take on a juggler inspired by a barrel spinner rather than an actuall barrel spinner. To get a bot fully into the barrel, you'd need to be HW or lower (due to the bot sizes) and be rather lucky that the bot lands in the barrel.

Cool idea but... somehow I doubt it's going to work the way you want.
Possibly, it's untested, so i'll have to wait and see. Use angle shell panels?
I tried to do that, but the problem is the flippers. If I use angles then the flipper's would have to pass through them to be able to flip decently, and sadly I can't see any way of putting the disk itself further back as the rule of 7 seems to dislike it
