I use metal hinge+DSL bar+small wedge. I prefer using dsl bars for their middle attachment point. Not that my wedge is brilliant.

I like the name of the Narmoured bot.
Its safe from gutrippers, but not quite so much spinners in general. Rammers may have fun with it too. Though, really, it depends on how efficiently you placed the narmour :P Does look like it could survive a while though.
EDIT: Just seen JB's post, so it wont be quite so good. XD

Ask The Ounce or Pwn. Hydrosphere (The Ounce's) bot would be a good one to look at (in the celestial objects team on NAR AI). Just browse around the showcases and find some. Theres even one in mine /shameless propaganda.
Then have a go, and we'll tell you how to make it better XD

So, I've AIed it and tested it out (and named it.) Here is a splash showing you some of its victories in SC4.  Coming to the next tourney I enter. :P Can't beat Alien Queen and HS, and anything that outwedges it though :P
