RA2 forum hint: Don't ask goose for avatars. It doesn't end well.
Speaking of Effe, did Barbie dissapear again too? I was going to say she could talk to him but I realized she hasn't been here either.

Irons should work OK on a drum because they damage on all sides.

Not always, look at Click and Mad. Or me? Last I checked I wasn't very evil.

The wedge is flush with the ground, its just a bad angle. It had 1mm titanium but I couldn't go 3mm and I had 30kg left to spare so I upped it to steel.

Bar Tab, 1mm Steel.

This would also explain why the skirts on my original bot sank through the floor.

And I was the one who made that skin, thank you very much.

If that's the case I think its more the hinges than the skirts itself. The skirts are basically just thing wedges/armor, hinges are burst motors with no power. Things that are supposed to move that can't are probably more likely to glitch than a stationary component.
Anyways, I rebuilt the bot and it works fine now, so no big deal.

Oh and by the way Nar, theres a huge difference between a bump for the sake of bumping and a bump with a purpose. This, obviously, had a purpose.

I love it, probably one of the best looking bots I've ever seen in DSL. It looks incredibly realistic, even if it isn't.

Kill: yeah, and the music fits really. poor sage. i guess that hammer missed a srimech. Ahahaa, I actually made that video! I couldn't believe my eyes when I watched sage's bot skate across the arena being pushed by a few saws. I figured such an epic win deserved epic music, and requiem for a dream does just that.

Your perms could be offcenter, its a glitch that happened to me and a few other people. Try completely rebuilding the bot and see if it still does it.

Hydro, chill. Seriously. I don't know how many of us have to tell you, but USE THE EDIT BUTTON INSTEAD OF QUINTUPLE POSTING.
On a normal basis I can be just as calm as goose and Madiaba, but underneath there is a part of me that can start a dlame war and I don't need you to bring that side of me out. 8 posts in a row is something that will not be tolerated by any forum anywhere.

ok. you say we can ask how to get a bot file from the game. im asking. I'll explain. Export your robot to your robot designs by clicking the button in the team hq. Close RA2, go to program files, infogrames, robot arena 2, robot designs. Your bot file should be in there. Copy your bot file and paste it into a temp folder on your desktop. Right click the bot file and click add to "botname".rar. Upload this .rar file using gametechmods's file uploader and copy the link and send it to venko.
