For sloth I think it is too reliant on wedges for the weapon to work (Edit:)all the time. I would lower the weapon height. Also JD was refering to the magmotor LX.

Real Robotics Discussion / Re: 10 Best Robot Wars Matches« on: April 16, 2010, 04:50:55 AM »
From a competitor stand point house robot were not good. They had the potental to tear apart the competitors. I know it's a given that your bot could get destroyed but to know if you lose your bot gets completly destroyed and or fried. (kiss your speed controllers good bye) Or to know that your fight could be meddled with and the outcome affected.
Just some things to look at: How many times were matches outcomes affected by House Robots? How many times did RefBot get in the way? Also take a look at battlebots. How many times did the sledge hammers kill a bot Killsaws disable a bot Hell raisers affect a fight(Nightmare vs SOW comes to mind) In my mind the best fights occur in empty boxs. Hazards and house robots were there to make it interesting for TV to keep viewers because Wedge vs Wedge gets boring after about the first minute. 3068

Hey I will be nice to ya. Just take a look around at other builders showcases. Take insperation from them and figure out how to make yours better. Have fun.
As for your bots. Try to make smaller chasis's. More weight save means better weapons/armor/drive also post pictures of the insides of the bots as well please. 3069

Stock Showcases / Re: My new bot: The Anti-Christ« on: April 13, 2010, 06:45:15 PM »
Hey I don't normaly do stock so correct me if I am wrong.
Dont use different weapons on different ends of a spinner weapon. It makes it unbalanced and vibrate. If you get rid of the two razor tips and baseplace anchors at the back you can fit another black battery there (I think). RAD's are probably not enough for the a HW. Try to fit Ztecs and make it invertable. As previously mentioned in your other thread try to stay away from the Pink Batteries. Also don't create a new showcase for each bot you make. Admins dont like it and it clutters up the forum. 3071

I know I know technical question. What PSI do the CO2 tanks typicaly run? Also how much does a tank hold and weigh? I am planning to build a pnuematic flipper bot and I thought paintball gun parts might work for the pnuematic system.
