it was mostly the sawbot that reminded me of merricks bot "trash"

your designs remind me of Merricks style of bot building (hopefully you wont PMS ragequit as he did). especially how they look like they were made by someone who just picked up DSL. but in all honesty i just dont like 1/2 of the bots. the terrorhurtz-lookalike and the brown spikestrip/iron rammer looks like they have promise though EDIT- apart from the extender look and the fact that its about 50 kg underweight, Biovore actually looks cool

nonsense. there is NO difference between inf's post and any other post apart from wording. ex: Maybe if you started with stock, then you would have some sort of clue to what to do in DSL. You aren't near the skill level yet where you can afford to be wasting your time fiddling in DSL.
Maybe if you started with stock, then you would probably do better in DSL. I really think you could benefit from spending some time in stock building bots.
The bot seems like it could benefit by being shorter. What do you have in there that's making it so tall?

i dont think a DSL longbow will work as well as the original stock MW version due to how much armor and how unexposed of a chassis most DSL HW popups have. sarissa = what CB named his hw version of longbow
