Caster armor won't fit

ORLY?

obviously I didn't spend any time getting the casters perfectly aligned. I also raised the DDT start positions up, they were too low. There's enough room in the back of the bot for 4WD. A snapper2 would fit in between the spaces in the front DDTs (If you axle glitched the axle off) which you could use to put ramplates in the spots where the caster armor is blocked by the DDTs.

Don't tell me they won't fit.

Bring the DDTs closer to the front of the chassis and rotate them down so much the razors are almost inside the chassis. Then set the DDT to rotate to maximum when you fire. Another good idea would be to make the front of the chassis less steep. usually 2 units of slope is the maximum steepness.

Definitely use 20 cms coming off the DDT, and bring them even farther back, almost inside the chassis. When a bot slides up the wedge, fire the DDT to hit the UNDERSIDE of the opponent. Pretty slick, VERY damaging.

The bot at the top of the page actually have promise. Use that funky chassis and put caster armor all along the front. This simple add on (with the HUGE amount of weight that you can't seem to use) will make it a decent bot. Use razors instead of spike strips and bring the burst motors back to make it a popup. You'll still want to shrink the chassis, but it seems like too much work for you new builders, so I won't even bother.

I don't mean it like that just telling him one nice thing is enough and then the help tips

When the bot is good I will tell him so. Until then I'll tell him things to make it better. It's not my job to make him feel good about himself, but to make him a better builder.

First off, if you won't rebuild your chassis and say things like "OH NOES IT WON'T FIT"  there's no point in me helping you out with anything else. Rebuilding your chassis is the most fundamental aspect of bot building, and just putting parts in a chassis is the most inefficient way to build. Remember this.

The second thing is the weight limit. LW ~ 249, MW ~ 399, HW ~ 800. What the heck are you doing with a 412 kg bot? It's easy enough to get down to a MW, just remove ALL the pinks and use ONE black battery. Instead of 4 redbird drive, use 2 HPZ or normal ztek drive. YES THIS WILL REQUIRE A NEW CHASSIS. Heck, this bot could be a LW if you used RAD drive.

Once you free up weight by making the chassis the right size (means close to NO empty space) then you will probably have more weight for weapons. You could double up the irons on the disc using extenders, for twice the damage.

Now for the popup. Remove the wedges on the baseplate extenders and put a DDT motor > 20 cm ROUND! extender > ONE small wedge. do this for both sides. Remove that horrible, inefficient, and ugly weapon system on the center DDT and use round extender with razors on them. Add another nifty to the left side of the robot opposite the one you already have, and remove the pink battery.

It's called a popup.

By the way, MW is 399 HW is 800. Why do you have 454?

Bring the weapon motors back farther so you get more power.

Put sensors inside the soccer ball and the goalposts, you'll know right away if its a goal. Like hockey (?) Something like that lazor might work but then a player could trigger it.

Also, need a slew of refs up in boxes with instant replays telling the ref if something if offsides or not.

DON'T USE DSL MOTORS IN STOCK. See those green snappers? those aren't stock.

Also, put armor on the front cause it will be destroyed by the first rammer or HS you face.

If you know he is underweight, you did you post him? Cause you can put more weapons, armor, wedges etc. on there by yourself. You don't need us to tell you that.

On the other one, that weapon is very ineffective. those redbirds are gonna fall off easy.
