Youtube Doubler looks interesting, but it needs some features add'd to it before its viable for me...
What exactly is Youtube doubler? I mean besides the obvious playing 2 videos at once, which I can do without their help.

Going to the craft store later this week. Anyone have suggestions as to special things I should pick up for a cardboard replica? (A head for a Major Tom replica as an example)?

Well, I make videos too so I like to make it look like the real thing does in action. It was pretty plain to see in RWEW that Paul Bunyan's blade wasn't spinning fast enough to cause major damage.

Thanks! I haven't tested it out against any other bots yet, but I have a sense how it might do. You can't see it in the picture but the weapon motor is a DSL servo, because the IRL version's blade spins at just 230 RPM (you're reading that right, I didn't drop a zero). You think people would be cool with me swapping the servo for a more powerful motor even if it compromises the accuracy of the bot?

Paul Bunyan. If they blades look familiar, they should becuase this was the team that built Slaphappy.

I call it Vanilla because it's like the purest level of stock - I haven't even replaced the AI with a user-created pack.

I'd prefer Battlebots over Robot Wars for 2 reasons. 1. Robot Wars is so cheesy when it came to the interviews with stuff like the sayings the teams do (especially the kids no offence). 2. Battlebots made robot combat look serious with the destruction and design. And this is coming from the place in the UK where robot combat only made a slight touch since only about one robot was bulit here. HOWEVER Robot Wars had 2 things that Battlebots did not do. 1. Robot Wars aired all fights which battlebots did not do because I would of loved to see Heavy Metal Noise Vs Ankle Biter and Tazbot Vs Slam Job 2. Robot Wars had an out of the arena zone while battlebots did not.
What turned me off to Battlebots was that there was WAY too much padding. They had overly long unnecessary segments like "Things you can do with your giant nut trophies." As a result they only had time for 3 battles per show. I also hated the commentators, they came across as clueless morons, as did Bill Nye with his useless factoids "T-Minus is using its flipping arm to self-right. Let's see if it can do it." The program was very unkind to newcomers - seeded robots would get byes into the top 32.

Your address is visible on that photo. I don't know if you care, but I'd want someone to alert me about that sort of thing (I was raised to be paranoid about internet creepers)

Under "AI" open the Teams.txt file. Find the highest-numbered "index __" value, it's 19 in your case if I'm not mistaken, and copy everything from "index 19" downwards. Paste it right below and in the newly pasted text, change the __ value to one number higher, (eg index 19 becomes index 20). You can change the team name and motto by simply rewriting the text. To change the team logo, take your desired picture, resize it to 128x128, give it a ,bmp extension and put it in your AI folder. In the "teams" file rename the line "AI/____.bmp" to correspond with your picture name
Next, copy/paste one of the Team folders, and rename it Team 20 (the same as whatever new index number you created in step 1). Inside are bots called Bot0-Bot5. Bot0 takes the first space, Bot1 the second, etc. Replace those files with your desired bots, and rename your bots Bot0-Bot5.
In the Bindings file add you bots' bindings, being very vigilant of typos.
And you should be good to go

I alwayes liked Bigger Brother. Not only is the bot a good bot(almost defated Razer in the Series 5 Final) But the fact that the team is partly driven by kids is pretty cool.
What what what??? That match was a complete curb-stomp battle. I defy you to find me any moment where Bigger Brother was on top. We all know he cheated and lets leave it at that.
Gavin wins the argument by being louder.

What better way to cap off a chain of reactions than with Reactor? My newest carboard replica:
That is VERY nicely built. How did you get the shape right?
Thanks :). Someone asked about the wheels, I'm afraid that moving parts don't work for these replicas, I use lacquer-based paint and the abrasion of the moving parts causes the paint to rub off even if it's completely dry. As for your question, I assume you're referring to the "bubble." I just found pieces of scrap cardboard that were roughly the right shape, pleated them until they bent in two directions, and glued them in place. Then I traced the gaps onto cardbard and filled them in - it was fun, like doing a jigsaw but making the pieces as you went. I covered the whole thing over with a silver-painted page from a magazine ad, which hid the cracks and gave it a nice foil-like look
