Step 1: Find and open the sergepatcher_freedom.py file within the Arenas folder Step 2: Remove the "#"s in front of "attachment hermaphroditism" and "component intersection"

We got one! 2 Middleweights left, and 3 WedgeLightweights as well. Keep 'em coming.

You guys must really hate the concept of entertainment don't you? 3 left in each category.

How the henhouse does your game not crash? Seriously, other than the Ring Ring battle, all of Vespins matches would've destroyed my computer.

If I knew you guys were going to enter these things I woulda changed my entry to a hammer bot in all three stages. Strafe and Strike needs more action.

4 to go in the lower two classes. Kix's MW denied due to safety reasons.

After doing a few test matches with some LW/MW robots, I have a few questions.
Firstly, I assume this includes unbalanced overheads that are Mauler-dancing all over the place?
Manual countdowns will be enforced on robots that cannot actively pursue the opponent.
Secondly, if a robot Mauler-dances out of the arena, then back in again, does it count as a loss?
Thirdly, am I allowed to send custom weapon textures with my bots? Amethyst seems like it might be good at countering overheads.
I won't count out a Mauler dancing robot unless in the hypothetical scenario which they turn off the weapon, they'd be unable to move. If you can crawl back into the arena, you're still in. However, being out of the arena for 20 seconds is an instant KO. Custom weapons are allowed.

Double post, but it's a sign-ups page so who cares. TheRoboteer's update accepted as well.

The way above is probably also true, but my personal method is using the magic wand tool that is set to 80% on the robot and then just painting the whole thing black. In other news, we're halfway through LW and MW and still don't have a hammer bot. Sevalent's LW denied for safety reasons.

And the last Heavyweight has arrived. Remember you can still edit your bots until the SBV. We also have plenty of MW and LW spots open. For example:

1 spot left for grabs in the heavyweights already. Geez... >Makes a tournament that buffs everything but flatmotors >Everyone uses flatmotor anyway

Can I send my HW now and then send a MW and/or LW later? Otherwise the slots are all gonna fill up.
Go ahead.

Remember that poll I had in my signature? Let's pretend that didn't exist. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] This tournament will be using a totally impractical and incomplete patch whose entire existence is for entertainment.
DSL 2.2 IRL, LW, MW, and HW. 16 entrants per weight class. I can deny you for any reason. Whether it be your robot it OP, it has an illegal weapon support, or your name starts with an E. You may only enter 1 robot per weight class, however you don't need to enter each one. Naturally, colored components are allowed, however, you might want to note that I don't own all of them. CF, BFE, OBJ2RA2, and all that jazz are allowed and honestly preferred over extenderbots. Cheatbot2 components include the Overkill motor and razer motor. The patch makes the flatmotor legal because I didn't buff it. Swiss army and multibots bots allowed Manual countdowns will be enforced on robots that cannot actively pursue the opponent. Judging will be dealt with on a 45 point system with 15 points on Control , Aggression (Which will be defined as active pursuit of the opponent), and Damage (Which will be defined by the ingame points system put into a ratio). If a match is plagued with havok explosions or is dull, it will be reduced to a highlight match (Similarly to Destruction Evolution).
Oh boy... The 16 robots will be place in four groups based on how much I like you its performance in testing. The tl;dr version of your goal is you want to be in the top 2 groups. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] You'll start off by fighting one person in your group. I'll rig it so you don't fight the same person twice, but RNG can still be a dick to you. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] The winner of the match will go on to fight the loser of the group just above it. In the case for the top group. It's a cannon fodder match with absolutely no meaning. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] The winner of the matches (that don't include the winner on the top group) will take the place in the above group and the loser will move down into the group below. This whole process will take place twice, giving just enough time for you to move a maximum of 2 groups. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] After 2 rounds of this have taken place, the robots in the third group and 2 robots with poor records in the second group will enter a bracket for the last 2 positions. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] The final positions of the bracket will show you your final seeding for the main event. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] A final single elimination bracket to decide the winner of the tournament.
Probably just gonna reskin the Robogames arena. HW- [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] MW- [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] LW- [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
HW- [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] MW- [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] LW- [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] These designs might be a little too practical... If this post hits 8 likes, I'm ready for sign-ups... or whenever I feel like it. idk.
We've hit 8 Likes, and I've gotten no crazy outcries yet. Onward to sign-ups.

Question: How many configurations are allowed on a swiss army bot?
Every time I see this question I get scarred. I'll go with 6.
