If it's a height problem, obviously you'll have to raise the chassis. But if it's a component problem, you could try rotating the E-tek since the hitboxes can be pretty weird at times, I've solved a few problems like that just by rotating the component :P

Working on an entry for the Father and Son thingy, lightweight's kinda crappy right now. 247.6kg Titanium 1 Not even sure if this is IRL 798.6kg Titanium 3 Also this thing. Could someone tell me what type of bot this is? Because I really have no idea. Got those detailed insides yo AND also, fixed this bot up so it looks less crappy.

That actually looks pretty damn cool. A few things though: Due to a glitch in RA2, every spinning motor only takes up 10 amps so you can actually just use 5 antweight batteries and save a lot of weight- you could probably get the weight down to a middleweight. You could also probably use a normal DSL tribar to save a bit of weight. Also, motors you're using for drive should only be used for spinners, I'd recommend using NPC-Fasts with vlad wheels instead. I'm not too sure about using maces but I don't know enough to give you an alternative since I don't really make spinners like that. Finally, it's best to use the blue speedcontroller just because it's a bit lighter. Don't get me wrong though, this looks really nice for one of your first bots in DSL.

I don't really get what you mean by calling it tryhard, like, is that really a bad thing? I didn't think about support, I'll go and add that I can't build antweights. Like, at all :P We don't talk about the SHW.
Thanks for the feedback <3

Thought I'd just dump some crap 4x NPC-Fasts Steel 3 394.9kg It also self-rights because why not. (I'm sure it breaks the IRL rule but, pfft, who needs that anyway) 396.8kg Aluminium 5 123.5kg Aluminium 3 And... this SHW We don't talk about this SHW.

Yeah, they seem to work well actually, though obviously they're pretty weak and break off quick, they can usually do enough damage to finish the bot off with the beaters. Cheers dude.

Yeah, I know. I just wasn't sure what to put on the ends that was light (to keep it stable) and damaging :P

You'll be happy to know the second one looks neater too

I think that kind of worked? It does it to a lesser extent anyway. Sometimes it will drive normally, other times it will run away or just sit still.

I'm having a problem with a multibot that I've AI'd- whenever the spinner gets close to the opposition it will turn around and drive away, this will keep happening throughout battle.

Can any of you guys send me link to the Robot Wars 2013 AI Pack please because i'm dying to play as the Robot Wars competitors that are in the file.
Next time try not to post something irrelevant to the topic, there's a thread for general support if you are completely lost. Saying that, here's a download link http://www.datafilehost.com/d/3474956d Just paste over a clean copy of DSL3. (DSL3 can be found in one of the top topics on the mods section)

DSL3 is too much fun for me to stop building in... Had to edit the motors so it would actually drive, but hey, it looks kinda neat. New heavyweight in DSL2.1 And the insides excluding the titanium sheet Aluminium 10 795.4kg Any skin ideas would be appreciated since I got nothing.

I don't think there is a link, unfortunately. Though from my experience I'm pretty sure using the duracell batteries would work fine, never had issues with rammers I've created using them. As for armour, I was talking about the chassis since you've got the exposed parts well covered with plates and chassis armour in Ironforge is pretty light.

That looks really nice, especially love the beater bars. I think you could downgrade your batteries and maybe increase your armour though. And that is still a heavyweight, yeah.
