Thanks again guys.
I've got a fair amount of work done. I created a way to map the keys to the components in game (Doesn't work perfectly. I want to copy RA2s eventually)
I've also created a crusher type bot, similar to Razer, that can latch onto bots and hold them in place. It works quite well. It is even capable of ripping off tires and lifting them in the air while they are stuck on the spike.
If I get the chance I'll post a minute long game-play montage later on tonight.

I could release a demo now, but I'd rather wait a week or so to get some more systems in.
In the meantime, I'd like to ask you guys a few questions so I can get some opinions on some stuff.
What do you guys want in a damage / scoring system? Do you guys want points to accumulate based off of weapon stats and collision speeds? Or keep the damage behind the scenes and simply score off of number of weapon strikes, orrrr... What? I'm open to ideas.
I should be able to create a KO countdown, and also make sure the opponent can't be touching them in order for it to start, to prevent cheap wins.
Should I focus on having components fail realistically, or go the same route as RA2 and have the bots auto-lose after the chassis has taken a certain amount of damage?
What kind of stage hazards do you guys want to see in the demo level? (This question is obviously less important but I should he able to implement whatever)
Any other ideas or tips?
I'm starting slow, and I'm not claiming this will ever be a real game, but it will, at the very least, be a fun arena with a few bots.
That KO/no touching countdown thing sounds like a sweet idea. As for components failing, I think if possible it'd be more realistic to program it so that if the control board/batteries are shaken up too much or damaged the bot is inactive. But idk if that'd be too hard to program

Not the first time Whyachi made a part for Jim. Checck out Breaker Box's plow on the link Ribbs posted.
Huh! Team Whyachi themselves helped build Nightmares new disc! Didn't know. But that is a nice littlepiece of trivia. Also, still wondering why Jim took off the wheel guards vs Warrior Clan. Didn't specify. But, apparently there'll be grudge matches! Cant wait.
Team Whyachi makes custom parts all the time, take a look at their sample page, you might recognize some of the parts.
Saw it. Just remembered Jim making Nightmares disc himself and assumed he did the same. For 2015 Though that might've been just for 1999 idk I forgot EDIT: Btw guys episode 5 for BattlebotsUpdate is out since RFS ain't on to tell you guys yet.

Use Multi extenders. (the black and red small one)
for keeping the drum up youll need to free up quite a lot of weight. your options are a robot X caster on the top and bottom, or using a teeth or weapon. but, if you can find a different way from these two, it's prob more preferable

edited Bullet. Changes include hammers that dont clip the wheels and a new trampstamp. Ray Billings is legendary

an old bot rebuilt. its Bullet. last time i ever showed it was a challenge against Mazakari. since then i've swapped out the sh***y wedge for a less sh***y one edited the chassis and thats bout it sits at 800 on the dot. very proud of that also i tried putting robot x casters o the drum bot. cant fit lest i make the wheels face 90 degrees the wrong way so thats a thing

Indeed I do :)
I wasn't after anything silly like this.
ahhh i see. will see if i can free up 4 kg's for that anyways. i took a gander at mazakari's showcase. needless to say his Ghost Raptor lookalike inspired me to try myself. this was the result

i wanna retract the wheels more into the chassis so it looks less wide. also the weapon is absolutely useless

Episode review:-Tombstone's vs witch doctor, woooooooow that was epic. -Bronco vs Stinger very good match, didn't know there were empty flip out zones. -Very genius move by Chuck. Hope he's got something to foil Bite Force. -Overhaul vs Bite Force very close match, enjoyed it thoroughly. Match predictions:Tombstone vs. Bronco: I think, Bronco takes it. I hate to say it, cause I love tombstone but I just can't se Bronco getting beaten. It's built like a tank, and if Witch doctor, a smaller, lighter bot can take Tombstone's hits, why can't Bronco?
Ghost Raptor vs. Bite Force: If Ghost Raptor has nothing except it's lifter going into the fight, I expect nothing but total domination for Bite Force. But, who knows? Maybe Chuck might pull something out of his sleeve.
Maybe a net.

Thoughts on today's episode:-Icewave is p cool -Is it just me or is Warhead not operating at max capacity? It's dome isn't quite spinning as fast as it used to... -Warrior vs Ghost Raptor was... it was something. Though I am glad that they are at least televising all the fights -Bronco might actually win this. Like they said, it's built like a tank and I honestly could see it beat Tombstone or Icewave if it comes to that. -Plan X is still underwhelming. tbh i think it's a lil messy and the fact that it's not even that good in combat is eh -Ghost Raptor. shame, I really thought it stood a chance. -Stinger could actually win this too -#bringbacknightmare
