Sacrifice reinforced perms for regular perms since they aren't very exposed, and get NPCs. Sacrifice a bit of armour if you need to. Those wheels suck too, get different ones. Are those large beater bars?
Actually, the reason it should be sacrificed would be because the Perms are directly attached to the baseplate, meaning they cannot be taken off.

i hate when you have to restart a game like persona 3
Insides? I don't know if it's just a rammer, or a poker because of the slot.

So, I only just found out that we were free to enter Two To Tango in teams consisting of only ourselves. Made these two:
1. Streamline (Image removed from quote.)
(Image removed from quote.)
Armor: 1 Plastic Power: 4 Ants Drive: 2 NPC's, 2 Tornado wheels
Kinda veers off to one side due to the perm only being on one side, but, not too big of a deal.
2. Anklebiter (Image removed from quote.)
(Image removed from quote.)
Armor: 3 Titanium (I think it was 5 titanium, not too sure...) Power: 6 ants Drive: 4 Astroflights, 4 wide ants
Is very unstable. Occasionally flies into oblivion upon making impact with anything.
I have to agree with Mazakari's statement, you seem to build these types of bots frequently. Maybe try something such as a flipper or rammer? On the bots themselves, I don't think polycarbs would be able to hold those plows, correct me if I'm wrong. With Anklebiter, you could do something about the ground clearance.

If you want your robots not to be super slow you can download Nar AI 3.
I'm generally aiming for IRL/Rule-of-Cool type bots, so I don't think Nar AI may be the best choice since they're standard, I believe?
Lol It really doesn't matter, the balance in DSL 3 atm isn't that good. All Nari AI 3 does is rebalance the components (and makes the wheels suck less, so bots aren't super slow)
Thought it was an actual AI Pack. Anyways, here is a Cruiserweight Flipper named Devious Ways: I don't know its effectiveness since - let's face it - nobody builds Cruiserweights.

Finally decided to get DSL3, and I absolutely love it so far. Just to kick off the now DSL3 showcase, here are two of my first bots: The Westerner, inspired by the infamous SFTW now with an outer shell of Aluminium and a better saw. Blackbird, an incredibly slow Tank-Tread Flamethrower, mainly for looks. As usual, feel free to give your input on the bot.

Well, another thing I could do is use a different armor and add more bars. I checked Naryar's thread and it seems I misread the good ones.
Edit: Alright, swapped out armor for Plastic 5, wheels for Tornado and the titanium extenders for aluminum to allow for more bars while still having the weight for semidecent protection.

If that's supposed to be IRL, you should try move the blade so it does not intersect with control or movement components (ie. wheels, control boards, motors, batteries, ect.), which I believe is one of the "rules" for IRL. If it's supposed to be standard, do not listen to a single thing I say.

(Image removed from quote.) "Jet Fighter" 109lbs (395 weight) and Aluminium 5 armour.
Pistons seem exposed. However, if you want to keep the design, you should replace the Baseplate Anchors with Multi Extenders. Also, aluminum in general isn't exactly efficient, and you may want to consider another armor type. Edit: 6 Ants is overkill with only two drive motors, three will suffice

Some more bots: Breakdown, a lightweight flipper. Mechanical Bull, a heavyweight wammer. Cut Above, a BW HS.

I decided to give Andec a major overhaul. Armor is 3 Tit.

I forgot what the drive motors were. NPC Fast if I'm not mistaken. Going to have to downgrade it since it keeps gyroing whenever it turns
Or it could just be AI'd to turn at a slower speed, like Devil III.

I decided to remake Vindicator by basically combining its design with that of Triceratops: Overall, it's better than both Vindicator and Triceratops. It uses a double-skirt hinge wedge which does rather well, has the armor of Triceratops on the front with the gut-ripping potential of Vindicator with Hypnos attached to Fast NPCs. It also looks cool, in my opinion.

Nice :) I usually have a birthday pie. Does the amazing cardboard warrior actually work?
It can stand upright, though it usually just flops around.
