Gonna keel you all with cheat parts for this :P

090901 gets the froonium plow and froonium spike, now legal for him in any future tournament I may run.  He also get automatic entry into my next.

I had almost forgotten about that...yup, you get to use them. Enjoy.   Anyone overly worried about them, don't be.  They ARE better than their usual counterparts statwise, but only slightly.

And sorry yoda, but overall your team was a bit too wacky XD, I may use a few bots from it though

No problem.  Like I said, use what you wish, or none at all.  I won't take offence

So I can make a Pony for this?

Absolutely!

TC, do you plan on showing videos of this tournament of yours? It seems really hilarious.

I'm in the process of whipping together a few bots for a promo vid.  IF anyone would like to make a bot or two to get featured, send them my way before, say, Wednesday.

That lawnmower's a real beauty.  Hopefully this doesn't start too soon, I've gotta buckle down and push through schoolwork for the next two months.

I might not even green tick this until after the next voting process, and even if i do, there still might be plenty of time.  Hope to see you there.

Too bad the lawnmower's not effective at all...but what can I expect when I use a dual perm as a decoration...

Glad to see you guys are liking the idea, and it looks like there's some great ideas poppin in your heads already.

What's this? Another replica tournament?  Well, kinda.   The idea behind this one is NOT to make replicas of a 'bot', but to make a 'replica' of...something else. A bot that appears to have been made out of some object, or in the shape of...whatever.  Here's a few examples...

Yup, a lawnmower and a can of mountain dew.  So, some rules...

1. 16 bots allowed, last 4 entrants will go into a wildcard bracket.
2. DSL SuperHeavyweight in the combat zone arena with hazards off
3. No cheatbot or replica parts
4. No custom components
5. All building done in botlab, so no BFE, AAM, or any of that cheaty stuff, skinning is allowed (nearly required)
6. multibots are allowed, both bots must add up to no more that 1200 kg
7. 'loose' realistic rule will apply.  This is standard realism, with slight allowances of breaking realism for looks only.
8. matches will be 3 minutes, 1 on 1, best 2 out of 3,  with a losers bracket
9. I can and will AI for those who can't, but AI'ing your own bot is the preferred method.
10. custom .py's allowed, not including the cheaty type (healing damage, constant damage, etc. etc.)
11. You must make a decent effort to make your bot look like it was built out of something else.
12. It doesn't have to be perfect, as long as we can get the idea of what it is supposed to be.
13. Beyond that, most bot types allowed, save for trinity flyers, nasty pickles, or bumblers.
14. In this tourney at least, the old adage of "size doesn't matter" happens to be true.  Who cares if the can of dew is as big as the lawnmower?
15.  The most important rule, this is for fun...

recently added rules
16. Havok restarts as per usual.  you get one free, on a second havok from YOUR bot, you're disqualified
17. Narmour: don't bother.  It won't work.
18. Multibots must both be destroyed/immobilized to count as a win.

Yar, I still need to get mine finished.  I still need to build one more, but I'm kinda stumped for ideas.  And I might just wind up scrapping the piston powered one i was talking about earlier if i can't get it to work any better than it is now...

Could a bot made in NarAI work? (Without using NarAI stuff, Just DSL ones) :P

I kinda only have that one coz I find it kinda useless to have RA2 DSL & NarAI since I would only build in one of em anyway ._.

As far as I know it should work, but be careful.  Somethings work differently in NarAI.  For example, Betas can attach externally.  Not that I think you'll use a beta for this, but...

Thank you one and all.  What a strange double coincidence this has provided.  I went to I-am-bored.com today and was looking around and this was posted there...

Damn Matthew gets all my cakes.

I like these ones better.  That pacman cake is awesome.  And a great likeness on the Yoda one as well
