Viper, if it felt like I was singling you out, I wasn't - honestly.
Like JB said, I was just making a generalisation, and no harm was meant to you by it. I was just discussing some opinions.
I'd prefer in future if my opinion wasn't called worthless though, when I know what running a tournament is like.
JB if this post is confrontational, feel free to edit or delete it, I'm just trying to fix things up.
No hard feelings than, it just seemed like I was being singled out because their was only 2 other people that fit your guys description and my AI discussion was 1-2 pages back so I just assumed. Back on topic: I think one of the well built flippers are gonna win this whole thing . Also what other effect does flames have on bots besides frying the control board? And what happens if the control board does get fried how drastically does it effect the bot? Would like to know these questions for future references .

Click vs.condor was cool I finally got to see how Click bot works. @ the people who said that I don't respect what JB has done for me in this tourney you can keep your worthless opinions to yourselfs because you have no idea what the  your talking about, The reason why I dropped out had no relation what so ever to the AI discussion and thats the last thing I'm going to say about that subject.

if the case you were not complaining then I suggest you place better care when you are choosing your words rather them seemingly pointing the blame towards others.
in testing FBS_Crawler halved spin up time from standing still to full speed, this is not my fault if another robot reaches yours before this time
I will follow your wishes once again and use FBS_1 in the next round
Or here is another simple solution that you and I both win, you can remove my bot from the tourney or if you can't do that, forfeit all my matches. I entered the wrong bot type for this tourney and have no interest in following any of my matches anymore because it's pretty clear and obvious I'm not going to win a single dam match unless it's a bye. I just can't see my bot winning any matches in this arena, any bot that can push which is like 95% of the entries will automatically win and the rest which are SNS'S will just make boring matches. With that said I'm sorry for wasting your time and tourney space. Cya .

I get annoyed at people complaining before even thinking about the amount of time I spend putting into this making sure its correct, I went really over the top this time attempting to bring this to a BBEANS level of AI including (now 4) New AI python files for robots.
and still all tournament I get an ear full of complaining

I said it before and I'll say it again, android knows what people really want.
Apple still doesn't recognize that their virtual keyboard sux. And having only 1 button on the front interface also blows. They need to add more hardware because their fail gave another company 2009's best gadget of the year award.
^^^^^QFT. I run W7 HD in my phone and can run Android 2.1 from my memory card. And I have to say I love Android 2.1  .

you had exactly what you asked for..... you wanted FBS_1.py so I gave you FBS_1.py, you criticized its ability in the last match so I made a new version of that python simply to try and please you which It seems to have failed in doing so.
you AI the robot yourself, to your satisfaction and send me over the bindings
I have no idea why everybody is getting mad after my first match I asked you to use the original FBS_1 I sent I didn't ask for any modification I only asked for future reference about the speed increase for the Tag Team MW DSl tourney??????

No, Viper, that is FBS_1, with a modification to make it moe suitable for crawlers.
1. it's not a crawler, it's a Whipper/sns/crawler. When I made the bot it does not spin like that, It is bouncing not spinning.

 The AI was never wrong to begin with, you got exactly what you asked for... but through my sheer generosity I have made you FBS_Crawler.py which increases initial spin up speed of low torque/ grip robots.

speaking of the walls though they seem to dislike all this hatred towards them so they stepped up and actually KO'd STC's robot in a match was was removed as it was an arena havok.
I might post the video of it somewhere, sometime

Oh man... I am up against Viper. This makes me nervous because I don't know if Haphazard can get a good grip on that bot to push it over the edge. It is a bit unpredictable.
Indeed it will be good match and thank god I'm not against a VS. Hopefully with the right AI now and if the walls don't rap me I should win by points .

That would be a sweat tourney not so thrilled about the idea if one bot gets destroyed then the you have switch out and replace it seems like it would be to time consuming making all the videos. You should make a poll of the different ideas for this tourney .
yeah, it's gonna take awhile, no doubt. But if you guys are willing to watch them, i'm willing to record them. I got plenty of time on my hands. get 3 days in a row off of work each week. If the videos get too long, i could even edit them down to just be 'highlight' videos and do a writeup of the full match.
I actually hate the idea of having to stop the match and restart. But it's the only way (that i know of) to get the effect. In a perfect world, when one bot gets eliminated, the new one would just enter the match in progress. The idea was inspired by the old Survivor Series matches in WWF(E, whatever).
O I didn't realize you had that much time on your hands, I'm game then . I'm pretty sure the people that will enter will be very willing to watch all the videos .

Yes, definately a rule there, all 3 must be different bot types. Will also put a restriction on the amount of flails on any bot...probably extremely low. These matches can go on forever, i don't want to have to restart due to havocs if i can avoid it. Thinking 2 flails max per bot.
My original intention was to hold this in the combat arena, but i'm thinking now the dsl tournament arena would be better. Allows flippers to stand a chance, and can lower the match times significantly.

Thank you for updating your first post FOTEPX. I'm not sure if some of the people in Red have already sent their bots and waiting to be turned to green or if they haven't sent their bots but if you guys haven't sent your bots lets go, this tournament was supposed to be started a week ago but FOTEPX was nice enough to let you slackers have extra time and we can't get this started into everybody's bots in  .

Whether you like it or not, the iPhone is the top dog. It may not have the most features, but it's the most recognizable smart phone on the market. That's why everything is compared to it.
The main reason why it's a the most recognizable phone is because when it first came out it was a fashion statement owning a Iphone= I'm cool and their is some truth behind that and then their is that other percentage who actually bought the phone for it's features. IMO the Top Dog phones are the HD Res phones with the screen res of 480x800 and up. The sorry 320x480 res the IPhone boasts is last years news .

People claim the Iphone is the best smart phone out but it still doesn't have basic smart phone features. You make this statement as if determining what defines the best smart phone isn't completely subjective.
I agree about the subjective part. Because when it comes down to picking a cellphone it depends on what features the person needs in their lives every day, so the best smart phone will always be subjective IMO . I'm just sick of Iphone users and cellphone reviewers comparing every new touchscreen phone that comes out to the Iphone like it is the best smart phone thats all .

Anyway Naryar, that amphibian is very interesting. To think that it is a actually an amphibian, instead of an earthworm.
Also, the longest confirmed animal was a Lion's Mane Jellyfish, measured at 120 feet. If the speculation is true though, the bootlace worm could be much longer.
EDIT: Speaking of biological curiosities, this fish with a transparent head always struck me as pretty interesting:
