I thought the first rounds were supposed to be rumbles since it says "In the first round, there will be 4 matches of four bots". Thwartoise: Interesting, is that ramming rack on the back made for the AI or a defense purpose.
Thwartoise face the opponent with whatever side has the most weapons on it. I also feel bad for going against it in the first round as it has obviously gotten an unlucky matchup by fighting a popup.
