What sparkey is trying to say that, although there is nohting wrong with custom components when used for fin, they are not thought of highly by most members here when used on serious bots due to the fact that they are unbalanced and do not belong to a proper version of the game (I.E. Stock, DSL, Backlash, RR AI or the Zone Mod). Also, they are almost always illegal in tournaments. Sparkey linked you to most of the best component packs.
