Actually, it doesn't (surprisingly). Weapon weight and reaction from spinning tips the bot forward (a bit), and it either tips backward or makes a couple of front flips. Having an extremely wide stance dissipates the reaction and subsequently requires an extremely large force to make it unstable (which is usually made possible when you're fighting Dual Perms).

 HOORAY FOR MOTOR OVERKILL! So this is Titadine, basically my own take on an Insane Berserker-style HS. 1mm tite, 3 ants, Perm 132, the rest you can see. It can kill Scout in one hit and can take out Infection 4 without getting a single scratch on the chassis. And yes, it's deadlier when airborne. XD [Edit] Hmmm. I could probably fit 2 SK drills in there. [Edit2] Never mind. The reach sucked. XD

Kinda overkill on maces, though. You could try putting some of them onto the ramming rack (as irons).
And nicely done on the Ultimate Sacrifice clone. You could try spacing the casters out a bit more (horizontally). SnSes might get a sneaky hit on the edges.

Stag is right. DDTs are just for wedges. I just remedied the bounciness a bit by placing iron tails. I could do a version with static motors, but as usual, I'M TOO LAZY TO BUILD ONE. XD
