Can the servo piston lift the Z tek back up? I tried something like this but with a rack of axes instead of face spinners but the servo piston couldn't lift anything i put on it back up...

By the way, once i get a copy of stock back i'll send you a team for your pack.

More bumps make me sad.

Can you please STFU about people bumping? Would you rather him make a new thread and say he thought these games were legendary? NO! Now stop posting.

General Support / Problem starting DSL
« on: April 15, 2009, 04:05:35 PM »
Well, I just got DSL again. I haven't played since around the time I built Steel Meatball, so yeah I downloaded it again but now im getting an error I have never gotten before. Whenever I try to start DSL it gets to the main screen, I click Team HQ and the game crashes. I get a pop-up that says 'windows running low on virtual memory'. Reinstalling doesn't help.

What's going on? :?

New skinned components, that are hidden by the AI thing that hid the original components in stock.

NO! Now shut up about skinned components.

Anyway, you should definatly release 4.1beta, Starcore. It would give us a better idea of what needs to get done.

Do you have DSL 2.1?

All those bots crashed for me when I had 2.0.

45-70 Magnum - ACAMS built it so it must be decent. Too slow to kill HS but could pull out some victories

Absolute Chaos - Absolute Chaos. Built by Inf. Destructive. End of Story.

Acupunture - Not the worst bot but not that good. Could win a fight if it faces one of those crappy bots.

Anti-christ V.Pincer - Doesn't look bad but most of its weapons are too back. If it can get in and stop hs with its brackets, it could beat some of the better HS in this tourny.

Big Flip's Revenge - Armorless and underweight compared to other bots. Will get raped by the first HS it fights but could pull off some victories against non-HS.

Black Cat Magic - Exposed wheels, weak weapon, exposed chassis, etc. Again not the worst

Blood Shed - Good rammer. Could get a win or two.

Bounty Hunter - Built by Pys.

Bumble Bee - I see it getting far. I see it raping HS and exposed pop-ups.

Cardiac Arrest - Lots o spikes and decently fast. Could get some wins but no wedge kills it.

Chernobyl- *sigh* It's a 36 macer so it will win some fights. I wish Somebody entered something less gay...

Cocytus IV - One of its wedges is AGOD. I sent Click a resend but I think I was too late. Still should get some wins against rammers and SFTWs. It won't be a match for HS or pop-ups though.

Consonant/Vowel - The SnS is okay but the rammer won't even scratch most HWs. I don't see it doing much in this tourny.

Copyright Infringement - It's a HS so its bound to win a fight. It looks pretty well built too so IDK.

Crawl Through Knives v4.2 - NWB with ramplates instead of razors on the side. I think it may even be NWB...

Dark July - HS will break their own spikes on these weapon racks. Will be killed immediatly by anything with a wedge.

Death Dealer - Could pull off a win against a SFTW. Sorry MTB, won't go far.

DGSG/IDRODI - Probably the best of the multibots. Still going to face all the problems a multibot faces. Especially in stock.

'Eavy Metal Boi - Weak rammer.

gears your lever - Worst of the Multibots

Generic Rammer - Could pull off a win. Exposed sides will probably kill it vs a Hs and no wedge means its a gonner against pop-ups.

grinnin face - :]         Suprisingly not the worst

Gut Ripper 2 - Unstablility and weak weapons are probably going to kill it.

Heaven's Sawmill - Awesome bot but doesn't look like it will go too far. Should give a good show though.

Hellbringer - Jack Daniels build pretty solid bots. Should rack up a win or two but will be beaten by stacked HS or a pop-up

Insult to Injury V - hehehe. Funny looking bot. Might be one of the worst.

Juggernaut Mk. 3 - A massive chassis will be prey for pop-ups and exposed corners and low weapon numbers mean it will be beaten pretty quick by HS

Mace in da face - Leave it to the guy who 'builds revolutionary bots' to enter a 36 Mace HS. Will win fights but bleh.

Mjorhmei - Not awful. might get a chance to launch a bot out of the arena.

No Hype 5 - Looks like an upward firing Pop-up. Looks okay. Definatly won't be boring like GBBS and BrasOuvert.

Oscillation Overthruster - Its an Hs and not a very good one. Could win a fight.

PitA 8 - Castor armored pop-ups can never do wrong. Should do well.

R4 - If it survives the initial hit from an hs it will probably 1HKO but its other fights depend on how good the wedge is.

Red Radar - Original! but no..

Revenge Of Dr.Wham - Not a bad pop-up. Will win a fight but not much more.

SandStorm - I'd like to see how this one will work out. Depending on its draw Ianh might go winless again!!

Seism 13 - Very well made. Should get far.

Shock Therapy - Too many snowplows for its own good...

Spearhead - Could prove troublesome for HS. Won't be a problem for pop-ups though.

Stratocaster - One of Kill's signature bots. Its very good but probably will get beat by Hs and Pop-ups.

SurgicalStrike - Exposed as heck. Wont last too long

T-800 Terminator - Good bot. Hopefully SC will improve on his 48 rankings

The Baby Warrior - SFTW

the black plague - Looks wild. Could beat a couple unarmored bots just cus its an HS.

The Emancipator - A very good suprise from H@zM@T. Could do well if its wedges are any good.

The Fang Brothers - Even bigger SFTW

Three Kings - Looks cool but probably sucks

Triple Play - One of the worst.

Trojan Horse - Could win a few depending on how that weapon fires...

Tsunami - Be afraid. Could go all the way.

Shadow Tryant - I think theres more to this bot than we can see. Trovs a smart guy so I bet thats like 8 ramplates.

Vela - Its a Hs so could win a few.

Vetearn Destroyer - Cool bot. Could win a few fights.

I'll rape all these rammers, wedgeless bots and weak hs. A Pop-up or HS I guarentee is what is going to knock me out.

Yay!

I like the way you run a tournament. Once the bots are in a couple days later you have the splash, then a couple days round one, etc. Good work on this tournament.

Ehh, I dont like my chances against the heavyweight. It probably too heavy to get under and hit the chassis.

Bulldog, Tabletop, One of Naryar's boastful on LWs that can "beat all bots" in the combat arena, Shaky hand. NOW!

First off its Big Dog and it probably would still lose. Its not like Big Dog's 4 RAD drive is really strong.

...but Snowjob on the other hand.
