The poly skirts are attatched to the Bursts, so it self rights perfectly unless up against a wall. However, they do stop popping power in tight spaces, so when they are lost damage potential goes up a little.

I agree with most of those points above. Another thing which annoys me is invincible halfsheet armour, even though I use it to attach a whole robot sometimes.

Anyways, following scorpions advice of adding a weapon and making it a pure popup or VS, i made it a popup. A fairly realistic one, as they go. :P

Large JX's, Tite 3, A large amount of razors. Poly angled skirts of self righting. :P

ALL OF MY BOTS HAVE TERRIBLE WEDGES, OKAY (yes, and Time Bomb just has above-average wedges)? :P

I know, its just not often I ko monochrome  :baby_smily:

And how many saws does it pack?

Four. May need more, but it seems to be very effective...:P

DP

So. Cloning, eh?!

Well, very nearly. I always wanted to try and clone fat rat, as it has caused me so many problems. But, I wanted to make it slightly different. So I put saws on it, and some snowploughs at the back. And a few more minor differences. And thats builders block sorted for a bit, expect a few sawbots soon. :P

Its self righting is very erratic. And of course, the AGOD. Will try shorter ME's the next rebuild I do to see if there is a difference (there probably will be)

And how many ants do 4 bsg's and 2 npcfs require?

(As for the unrealistic thing, thats because its a popup.:P)

Ahaha, it is not the skirt hinge which is the problem. :p (Though they do go through quite a way):P

I effee'd the titanium sheets (2, yes:P) onto the skirt hinge on the left and righ sides, so they aren't the problem. Mwahaha :P

but wouldn't it be better if the plastic extenders were replaced by angled skirts?  They're wider and stronger.

Aha, yes, but somehow I forgot about them. Will stick them on if I enter MM with it..

And it's original ! But why so much motor power ?

Thanks :D And its because I want it to hurt things badly. And also because of what pwn said. :P

Anyways, new bot. I may have started taking a likeing to popups......

Realistic. Well, maybe apart from the razors touching the flipper segs.. and a couple other things. :P

Looks good.

Edit: oh yeah, marty's bot was called A very big block.  I thought you meant like a generic blocky test bot.  I'd be fine with that... did you send Craaig a PM?

Well, kind of. More asked him over msn and in person.:P
