I'd do a setup like this but scaled better and I could re-skin the dark scoop when I get a chance later.

I'd honestly go with a plow and go from there if you are making Breaker Box. The behemoth scoop seems too small to me another option would be a re-skinned dark scoop.

Where do I place the hex codes for the GMF object color in the Dome GMF? Or is there a way to ad a BITMAP skin layer over the GMF?

I sent both Stock and DSL. The stock bot was provisional incase you forgot. If you still want to enter as a team I'd like that.

This is not a KLONE (I hope)

4 NPCF
6 ants
1 puma
2 Perm 80L's
ti 3

Weapon assembly is on a servo piston so it can be lifted out of the way and then brought down ontop of the other robot acting as a clamp. It works best against shell spinners rammers and anything it can outwedge.

I was under the impression that this was a reballance of the AU AI and new replicas that weren't in the AU AI.  No offense to any of you guys but the AU replicas are better than anything you could make. Simply because they have custom parts made for the purpose of replica. For example my Hammertime replica posted a couple of pages back uses custom made wheels (reskinned taz wheels with better grip) custom burst motor ( Skirt hindge GMF with 250 250 power) and fights decently for a replica. If the AU replica parts are reballanced for DSL the reps would be awsome because they would look like the real bots and have decent fighting ability. Why revient the wheel and make new replicas when we have working ones with custom components that just need reballancing.

Just my two cents.

No. This a new Battlebots AI, we don't want to piggyback off of AUBB or DSL.

So this means my big armor switching task was pointless?

Badnik@ I have a custom motor for circuit breaker
Code: [Select]
name = Circuit Breaker Weapon Motor
preview = axlemount_preview.bmp
dir = axle
model = axle1.gmf
type = mechanics
base = SpinMotor
master = mount_display
passthru = axle_collision
attaching = axle
styles = Default
description = Circuit Breaker replica weapon motor
power = 200 27
elecMaxInOutRate = -15
motorsound = sounds\heavy_motor_loop.wav
attachsound = sounds\cmp_wheels.wav
standard = 1

Just place this in a new TXT file in the comonents folder and name it   circuitbreakerwepmotor .

I also might reskin a plow for electric lunch

Techno wheels and another weapon rack should eat up the weight.

Hmmm.. FOTEPX is spamming his own showcase. :P

Drop the dual wedge setup and go to single metal hindge wedge. You should have the weight. If I remember weights correctly you should then have 11 kgs to play around with.

If I kick my self enough to figure out how to skin those shell pannels and disks I will have them for you at the end of the week. I can't find a bmp file in the GMF or in any folder for them. How do I skin them? I also noticed this with the DSL bars.

 Also I might make the pannels weapons so you don't need beater bars.

Battlebots AI that works in DSL. Unballanced just includes AU parts and replicas.

Here we go

Team Uncia: Proven bots should do well.

Team Ultimatum: 7 Colors of Death doesn't look great and uses stock components and don't Overkill blades have normals on the front?

Team Lazer: SNS's are going to be hard to kill unless they go OOTA and DA looks deadly.

Team G-UNION: Krawlerz

Team Distant Lack of Monkey Related Bots: Looks like a good team.

Team Eruption: Backfire looks useless inverted and chasis's look like big targets on all.

Team Bling: Look cool and deadly.

Team The Big Freeze: glacer might get a win before it melts. :P (had to get the lame pun in)

Team Genesis: Solid team Megadrive looks like it needs to score KO's fast againt any spinner.

Team Plasma: Good bots nothing bad to say.

Team Meatbeaters: Stock... why????

Team Lastminuters: 2 out of three look like they could win some fights. Lava flow looks below average.

Team Badnik's Badniks: Grawlix looks like it might fly off a wedge.

Team In: Indestructable might OOTA off a wedge as well.

Team Residential: Decent and generic pokers.

Team Robot Unicorn Attack: They should do what the builders name is and Pwn

Team The End of the Road: Angry German Kid might get a wedged bot OOTA but I don't see this team winning anything.

Team Without A Cool Name: Agitator's lack of stability scares me. Expect it to bounce OOTA.

If the chasis is smaller he can gain weight and use it in better drive NPCF or NPC.

Flamethrowers are banned at some events because of safety issues such as insurance, plywood floor, venue not being flameproof. There are quite a few bots that run flamethrowers. (Alcoholic Stepfather, Texas Heat, and the Red Barron have all run flamethrowers.) See section 13.2.1 http://www.botleague.net/doc/RFLTechRegs-2010-final.pdf

I've had a couple of ideas for some of the bots.

Tentomushi - reskinned disk and shell components
Toe Crusher - reskinned and resized overkill wedge and overkill chasis with different weapon and wheels
Final Destany - Custom bar comonent and useing axels and skirt componets to get the accurite hindged skirts

Vlad is now running 4 NPCF with Hypnos and gets more accurite speed and power.
