General Support / [AI] The right sequence of numbers in "Weapons"?
« on: June 21, 2011, 02:29:37 PM »
In an AI binding there's always a set of numbers after "Weapons" (unless it's a rammer) that tell a bot when its weapons have been broken off and it should switch to ramming/evading.  How do I figure out the right numbers to use?

Thanks in advance.

They come in Wham's component pack, I think it's in his sig.  There's a bunch of other stuff in the pack too but it's mostly just reskins.

AU replica parts?

I've wondered about those.  Where can I get them?

As a replica builder, I'm always interested in new components.  Mostly because of shape - new shapes present new opportunities for replica building.  I thought it would be good to list all the component packs that offer original-composition components, rather than just reskins of existing ones.   I'm trying to compile a list of all such components and packs.  Individual components are fine too as long as they're not just reskins.  Here are the ones I know of:

Lu-Tze
Dummy (D1/D2)
Darkrat
Beetlebros
Wham's Killerhurtz & Terrorhurtz axes

So yeah, if you guys know of any other legit components or packs that don't crash the game, that would help a lot.  Thanks.

Hmm, hard to pick a soundtrack overall, even harder to justify since I'd have to post the whole library, and I know no one would be bothered to listen to them all.

I'll just say "9 Doors 9 Persons 9 Hours." While there aren't any songs to dance to in the soundtrack, they're brilliant mood-setters with various degrees of desperation mixed in, the perfect complement to an awesome storyline.

My sister's a fan of the band Parachute, and they're holding this contest for a private performance.  I'd love it if you guys would help her win by giving her lots and lots of views:

Posted a bulletin on my channel, liked, and favorited.

Thanks!  I appreciate it.

I'm assuming followed this link:
http://code.google.com/p/gmftoolkit/downloads/list

...and only downloaded the decompiler.  You need to download the compiler as well.  Can't have a Yin without a Yang

Okay, so how do I compile the file?

Can you be more specific?  What have you done so far and what do you need to compile?

I always imagined Scourge as Hiyori from "Lucky Star." (Glasses and long black hair, she's got a cute meganekko thing going)  Cases in point:

Dead Metal was awesome because in 7 years of competition, there was not one competitor robot with a decent circular saw weapon.  But Dead Metal had a plain old circular saw and it just cut right through everything.

(Now the question is, what the devil do I do with the rest of the surplus?).

How much more is there?

I have 4½ A4-sized sheets left - Diotoir took one sheet, and Chompy took a half.  It's just plain red, I haven't put the spots on it yet.

I see your haaaand!

I'm proof that you don't need long, lithe fingers to do delicate operations.

New cardboard replica.  It's General Chompsalot, Season 1 version, with moveable jaws.  Also you get a glance at the fingers that built and painted this replica

I finished another cardboard replica.  This one is General Chompsalot.  The jaws move and the tongue is made from some surplus Diotoir fur  (Now the question is, what the devil do I do with the rest of the surplus?). I handpainted two american flags, if that's not patriotism I don't know what is.

You should take that horse out to the pasture and shoot it.  You're really living life on the edge by continuing to save data on a malfunctioning machine with no backup.  Best to cut your losses and buy a new computer while you still can transfer the files.

Trust me, I know firsthand.

What's that song that goes "WhOOOooooooooOOOOOOoa. WhOOOOOOOOoooOoa"?

I saw a thread in the gaming section called "GTM's Most Wanted." Imagine if it was called "GTM's most unwnated." the bounty on Hard Bot would be HUGE

I took a sleeping pill about an half hour a ago.  And me being sleepy is like the average person being drunk.  Or maybe high.  I can't say my obersvations of myself have been what you'd call scientific.
