Do you have the disc verison? If so, then reinstall it. If not, then get the 1.3 patch, then get the 1.4 patch.

My apologies, although in my defence everyone was talking about the two matches after mine, hence why I thought it wasn't needed anylonger.

Odd, maybe the physics of your game is slightly different. Regardless, I think that is a pretty sad way to go. You got my vote for BTRSHDBBDDTBL.

EDIT: WTF at my match, I spin around dominating the match then just randomly jump out of the arena. It never did anything that extreme in testing. Very dissappointed. 
I don't think it was random. I think your opponent hit you and caused your bot to become slightly off balance, so that the wheel wasn't getting proper traction. When it regained traction, the speed and torque it had flung your bot OOTA.

If memory serves Vertigo was always winning on points at first but lost the exposed weapon motor too early

Its all equally unbalanced though, all parts have around the same HP
^This makes no sense, having the same HP for different weights is VERY unbalanced.^ In the interests of staying on topic, some of these matches are very predictable (even by looking at the video time left) but sometimes I do get surprised by events that occur. ahh I knew it would end this way. I blame the collision mesh of the raizertail and the havocing invisible burst motor and of course S_M and JD and everyone in this tourney :P No, srsly good match JD good luck in the further tourney :)
In pre-filming testing, it was 50/50 between the bots actually. Just when I filmed JD was on top... (Yeah, a bit unlucky) Also, you can see JD's special decal in the last match
