If you're willing to make a spare copy of your Robot Arena 2 game (about 1.2 GB of memory) specifically for holding replicas, then I can help you out with regards to the Tetanus Booster replica.  As long as you promise to give me credit & mention my name (I go by Sonny_Resetti or Resetti's Replicas) when you show it to Paul Snook.

Post or PM me if interested.

and with this:

NOOOOOOOO
Eh?
It is the most horrible representation of robot combat that I have ever seen

I wouldn't say that.  They've set up a pay-to-play robotic combat system that allows people to drive real heavyweight robots without much risk of damaging the robots or themselves.  They'll even let you take one home for 1200 pounds, which is a crackin' good deal compared to the time/monetary cost of building an actual combat robot yourself.

Sure it's docile, but it's a way to let interested spectators dip their toe into the lake of combat robots.

Gah, I need to find a better way to clear a stuffy nose rather eating jalapenos.

Rip out some nose hairs.  It will hurt like a bitch but it'll eventually force you to sneeze.

Guys, I'm scared:

I will eat you. :D

I don't recognize that glowy weapon; it's the Pyro's right, what is it supposed to be?

I was watching TV with my family and a trailer for the movie "Zookeeper" came on.  Kevin James plays a hopeless romantic who works in a zoo and finds he can talk to the zoo animals, so he gets dating advice from them.   So I said "You know, most of those animals don't actually have to ask for consent"

And they acted like I'd said something totally out of line.

some day I will buy all of them and make a Robt Wars museum <3

DO THIS IMMEDIATELY.

I WILL GO SEE IT.

I would like to see a US version of what GF93 would like, a renewal of robotic combat.

The fastest way to do that is get a TV channel to broadcast the fights on an episodic basis (not just once a year like Killer Robots.)  If you really want people to make fun designs, you have to offer them athe chance to show them off in front of an audience of millions.

But yeah, the money problem comes into it again.

Aye, I've been looking for an excuse to give that one more action.  I replaced the square extenders with steel, so hopefully the weapons won't break as easily.

It's whatever I'm thinking about at the moment.  Like for example my mind was completely on the risks of using plastic armour when I christened "The Plastic Peril"
Or thinking of long-extinct prehistoric Pokemon (or Japanese helmets, for that matter) when you came up with Mutant Kabuto?   :approve:

Both actually, it looked a lot like the helmet, and I thought people would get the Pokemon reference.  The name itself came about because I was thinking of the way John Madden talks and sometimes slurs words together, "Mutant Kabuto" is the kind of phrase where he'd barely pronounce any of the syllables.

General Support / FBS_2 binding help
« on: June 29, 2011, 06:18:45 PM »
I'm having a problem with the FBS_2 binding.  As you know, it's programmed to stop spinning and chase its opponent after a time specified by "Chase_Time", the problem is, my robot won't ever start spinning in place again after the first time.  Can anyone help, or recommend a better binding to use? (I need one that lets the robot SnS and use spinning weapons)  Here's the code if it helps.  I set the fbs_range low because I don't want it to spin in palce unless the opponent is really close:

Code: [Select]
list.append(("13 Black","FBS_2",{'nose':math.pi,'chase_time':15,'fbs_range':30,'right':1,'PreSpinEntrance':30,'radius':0.3,'topspeed':150,'range':99,'throttle':130,'turn':60,'turnspeed':2.5,'weapons':(9,10,11,12)}))

I recently started reading Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi by bleedman

Don't laugh. Okay, you can if you want.
My favourite character is the bad guy Samantha. And I have no idea why.
You MLP fans should read it :p

If I didn't care for the original cartoon series, will I still like it?

Copypasta from "Fallout," I think.  It bothers me that they'd call their war "The Great War," because that's what Wrold War I was originally called, when people foolishly & optomistically believed that there would never again be another world war.

Does that mean if someone on this forum actually gets it and restores it, they will ask Click to make a rep of it for DSL 3.0  :laughing

I'd make you a Stag replica for free.

Minus the cost of the cardboard. And whatever was contained within said cardboard. =]

Oh no, I was walking about the one I made in RA2.

But I only use scrap cardboard for the IRL reps, there's a restaraunt near my house that leaves their flattened-out cardboard boxes by the dumpster, and I just go by on the weekends and nick whatever I need.

I don't like Ray William Johnson.
If you want to watch something that's entertaining and funny, watch Epic Mealtime.

Everyone hates them now.

What surprises me the most is that people didn't expect that "incident"  I mean it's a series of videos about guys who shout too loud and violate all the rules of palatable cooking.  What did they think Epic's milestone video was going to be? "Docile Parsnip-Eating Session"?

I just realized the scale. Damn I'm tall.

Maybe the scale is accurate and they tricked you into taking Staglet instead.

The reason I asked is because I while I was searching for your Youtube page on Google, I found the DeviantArtist HoundoomRulez.  Not only is her name similar to your YT name, her interests look to be the uncannily similar to yours; were you and I not friends on Deviantart already, I would have been convinced that she was you:

I don't make good videos, but I would like to think they serve a purpose

Your Youtube username, it's something like Houndoomrules right?  I can't find your page because your Youtube icon is broken, (you're supposed to just put your name in the box, not the entire URL)
