You might not of realized, but in the tournaments they only chose bots from the first 15 :) So same way you did.
There's actually this cool mod that Madiaba came up with that randomly selects from ALL teams, you could ask him about it.

Looks great R0B0. Looks like everything could be a little more forward (the chassis is sticking out in the front). Perhaps turn the black sideways and move the snapper up a bit?

tournament mode takes from the first 15 AI teams. So, I you could try replacing some of those folders with your own AI.
