what about ramming spikes or a scoop?

scoop is fine, you can make it active too. If you, like the ENTIRE REST OF GTM overestimate spikes, we can negotiate. Put the spikes on a hinge. It is an extremely successful design. It makes a very good wedge. They have been used from Antweight (1lb) example:‘Slim Pickens’ (nudge nudge Natef) to 250 lbs. example: Blacksmith

Bots irl just don't use long paper thin sheets. I would've thought you got that bit 😉

Those would break. Oh yeah...

A) They're not really used in IRL building, outside of dustpan designs
B) They outwedge EVERYTHING
C) Very easy to abuse in the design department
D) THEY OUTWEDGE EVERYTHING
E) They look pretty fugly
F) I abused them on an old bot years ago and took home second place in a big tourney despite the robot being ass, which started this whole "skirts are illegal" debacle
G) There's plenty of examples of crap or mediocre bots getting good places in tournaments because of their wedginess, almost unfairly so. Read also, "wedge war".
H) Turns RA2 into a pushing contest rather than anything to do with design
I) Come on man, be original.

Ok.

i attached a screenshot. I did add the I fix there and still get this. I already set compatibility to windows 7 trying to see if maybe that would help the screen.

that screenshot is full screen, but it does the same for windowed as well, just has a title bar. I even tried it in 640x480 windowed and it's still zoomed in like that. no idea why. i mihgt not be able to play the base game. The DSL version does work for me at least.

I think DSL is better anyway. I got a version with dsl 2.1 preinstalled. I also downloaded 2.2 from there.

I always longed for the easy stock ai though... before i found this place.

i wanted to make pneumatic spinner a la the
butcher
. it has two judge thrusters on the bar to spin it up to around moe motor speeds. the perm and piston aren't wired and are there to simulate a pneumatic turbine motor, but i dont know how accurate it is(Image removed from quote.)

Are you going for style or effectiveness

Nah ram plates are the real spinner food. A razor rack deals much more damage and can take out tribars if it can properly pin a spinner.

My only suggestion is to ditch the blades and make the chassis wedge shallower and rotate the snappers so they're hidden beneath the wheels.

I’ll make my next popup with wammer spikes then.

Camo Tank 2- A upgraded version of Camo Tank, now has normal drive and not used on a burst, basically a popup and wammer hybrid I guess

Aren’t those wammer spikes detrimental to it’s performance? They’re spinner food! Replace them with casters or ram plates.

I think reflective will be 2nd place to You can’t get any more generic than this. I think Hammerblade can potentially win his heat.

I'm getting deja vu here. A TRFBD, Oh Noes 2 is holding me back, but the other 63 are all done. :dumb)
