I have some ancient Nokia for a phone. Best phones ever because they just DO NOT break and very functional rather than gimmicky.
This. My old Nokia had any number of bangs and smashes on the ground, and it didn't once go wrong. Then, when I swapped it for a Motorola Razr, the screen cracked and it filled up with Mini Cheddars. So yeah. Don't get one of those.

This is now a robogeddon thread. Japanese site detected the news of robogeddon and listed it on site. I've found a set of very sketchy rules and a format description for an 'experimental' robot competition written in 2008 by someone who just happened to be at the Discovery Channel announcement of the new show. Yea. Killer Robots Was Weak. But Robot Combat Is Dying. And Killer Robots Rose The Sport's Popularity. So Any Robot Show, Im Taking It And Running.
robot combat isn't growing, if anything it's rising in popularity. Its just not on tv much anymore

We haven't had any new "serious" roboteers over here for years!
We may not have had any "serious" rooters but we have had a lot of people like me that do it for fun and don't take it seriously and just do it as a hobby
But unfortunately, none of these people seem to be moving on to a feather, and decent featherweights seems to be what we are seriously lacking at the minute.

Actually- I wonder if Sonny could provide the "Three, Two, One, Activate" sound he uses for his videos to replace the intro buzzer? That'd be fantastic.
Doesn't work. The intro sounds are the same .wav repeated multiple times, not one long .wav. It would repeat the whole "Three, Two, One" three times.
how about using motorama buzzer
