instead of stacking things on the motor you are stacking over it which reduces chassis space needed.
Isn't this basically then regular old stacking then?
No because you need the axle glitch to stack it.

So, in that case, wouldn't it be easier to just stop axle loading, rather than trying to split axle loading into allowable stuff and 'uberstacked' stuff... in fact, wouldn't it be easier to just call 'uberstacking' by the name of axle loading, since there is no difference bar the application, from what I can tell... and, in that case, I'm pretty sure that quite a few tournaments already disallow axle loading, so I really don't see the problem.

Yeah, I need to figure out a new wallpaper, but I don't know what, since I don't feel like going back to Fate/Stay Night or a Dark Souls wallpaper...

I know stuff happens but a mod or someone could have done something about it seeing as it was trolling outside of playground but nope..instead all I got was more hostility.

To be fair, you did make an entire thread about how the game is losing the fun factor due to lack of community (Edit; just re-read it, turned out it had more serious responses than trolling, so I think that part is something to disregard), and then, after that, a lot of people started bothering you because of elitism and believing people should pay more attention to you and your AWs (if I remember correctly)... I am pretty damn sure you posted in Playground, because there was the whole thing with HX as well, but Playground was carpet bombed not too long ago, so I can't go back and check it. Although, you also posted stuff in Chatterbox which is really just a toned down Playground. Of course, everything I just said could be a load of rubbish, if so, sorry.

Really, there is no such thing as immunity, but there is such a thing as not rising to what is thrown at you (possibly easier said than done, but oh well).

Either way, welcome back, good luck with getting back into the community, and good luck with whatever projects you have lined up.

I did think the game is losing the fun factor, a lot of things have been vanishing such as BBEANS and a lot of quality vets such as starcore and inf who really progress the game. Surely you can't fault me for that?

elitism? no, I don't think I'm awesome at everything I do here. Honestly I miss the times where any tournament would get a bunch of feedback and general chatter along with a whole bunch of entries, things felt much more alive. Having hosted tournaments when the forum was like that compared to now makes me wish my tournaments got more attention, that's only natural right? and I really think people could do a little more and liven up the place a bit.

I was originally, but then I re-read it and realised it was a serious thread with mostly serious responses, but I don't doubt that it is one of the things that led to the subsequent drama.

Elitism is more a sense of entitlement (I have done X, Y and Z, I think I deserve A, B, and X, or 'I have done stuff, I deserve respect') than the straightforward 'I am better than you' attitude (I'm pretty sure that is being pretentious or arrogant... maybe both), although it's possible that the notion of you being elitist just came from taking what you said about the things you had done (which, if I remember rightly, had a bit mentioning how you wanted more comments on your stuff) and exaggerating it for the purposes of annoying you (I do vaguely remember a large 'discussion' in one of the GTM Skype chats at the time, but I don't really want to go looking for it).

I tried to, but then I remembered that my ctrl key doesn't work, and trying to make an alright bot without the ability to raise components is difficult (well, okay attempting to make an alright HW is quite difficult without ctrl).

On Monday, I should actually be able to start building for this because I will have a new laptop... by extension, I will have a working ctrl key.

17. 666 argument. Atheists are crazy people.

You've just got to love the number he uses. Basically it goes like this:

There are 666 atheists in a house. Half of them say "god cannot exist", and half say "god can exist". Does this mean atheism is contradictory?

...I'm pretty sure that if that happened, you would have 333 Atheists, and 333 Agnostics in a room

Hmm... two Side Hammer/Poker Hybrids seems easy enough... except maybe reaching the weight limit without havoking... and coming up with two different designs.

Chatterbox / Re: How did you guys do in your GCSEs?
« on: January 11, 2013, 06:53:49 AM »
Mainly played games and listened to music, got 1D, 2Cs, 4Bs, 3As... I would've copypasted the next section, but then I realised that this laptop doesn't have MS Word.

A in ICT (would've been an A* if I had done better in the coursework, considering how I got 72/80 in one test, and 76/80 in the other)
B in Business Studies
A in Japanese (can't remember most of it, can still remember Hiragana, Katakana, and some Kanji)
B in English
D in English Literature (**** Shakespeare and poetry, that is all)
B in Maths
A in Science A (whatever Science A is)
B in Additional Science (whatever Additional Science is)
C in DT: Graphic Products (surprisingly enough, considering how sh** at art I am and the fact that the test question I did best on was the one to do with printers)
C in RE (may have been the maximum grade because of me doing the short course (i.e. I didn't pick it on that long list of subjects to do). Favourite part of the exam was probably 'Nuclear Weapons stop wars, discuss', because I said 'Yes, because if you nuke the opponent, they won't really have a way of fighting back' or something along those lines (obviously, I did go on to explain how nuclear weapons can be used as a deterrent as well)).

May as well sign up, make no promises on quality of bot, and I'll have to build it when I'm not at work.

Chatterbox / Re: Your fellow GTMers Theme Song
« on: January 06, 2013, 03:37:36 PM »
I reckon that one of these would be Madman's themes (based on stuff that generally happens in this board)

And I reckon that Cigar by SoaD would be for most of Playground (probably not allowed to post the song due to the rules of Movies and Music, but oh well). Hopefully the quality of those songs is actually alright... this laptop is so terrible that it doesn't even have Service Pack 1... and can't download it either (nor can it get latest Firefox, Java, or Flash...).

I'll probably enter, but I may (read: will more than likely) need to ask what constitutes as the bot type I get assigned... except in obvious cases.

I finally got round to finishing off that library on the Xbox version

It would be more aesthetically pleasing, but I had to stop the mobs from spawning in there... annoyingly enough.

Mine is Chaosmancer... Although my current laptop will probably die a horrible painful death if I try to run Minecraft considering how old it is, so I may not be able to try to access it until I get a new laptop (probably sometime next month)

Courtesy of Street Fighter X Tekken (PS Vita version). The song seems quite like a Bullet for my Valentine one, in my opinion.

Now I've got the rest of my presents, I can write the full list;

Bolognese
Trifle mix
Pasta (those three are because my gran has a strange sense of humour)
Wallace and Gromit mug that comes with some teabags
Wooly hat
Socks
A pen that has a Phillips head and a flat-head screwdriver, a spirit level, and a ruler as part of it
A jar of chocolate buttons
Street Fighter X Tekken for the PS Vita
Dead or Alive 5
Resident Evil 4 for the Wii
Paper Mario Sticker Star
£10 iTunes voucher
2100 Microsoft Points
£15 PSN top up
And a £100 cheque (this is possibly irrelevant to Christmas though as I have been told that there may be more coming assuming I don't spend it on crap (presumably, by that, he means games and sweets)).
