You can not be a Christian and still follow 'do unto others as you would have them do to you' (or whatever the actual quote was).
Thou shalt loveth thy neighbor as thy would thyself
Which means you can treat people like sh** and get away with it, as can I ^w^
Unless you neighbor's a guy, in which case you would be gay and must be burned... ..that wouldn't be the same.
There is a difference between loving someone and bumming them.
Very true point, it could be family love, brotherly love or best friend love. It does not have to mean hopping on the good foot and doing the bad thing

Religion is stupid. It contradicts logic too many times to be worth paying attention to.
I know being religious promotes morale values, but why can't you do that when you're Atheist?
Plus, many wars are religion-based. Until there is only one religion in the world, religion will have little meaning to me, due to its contradiction of every religion saying that their beliefs are the 'absolute truth'.
Both of you have very good points here. I believe you don't have to believe in God to promote moral values, it's also stupid that they are saying that being gay or a lesbian is a sin and sometimes not allowing them to go to church. It's getting stupid and rather homophobic and sexist. Many if not all wars are religion based. It's cos many people want to force religion down each others throats, not giving you the chance to think for yourself

I'll always be atheist. Why preachers think they have the right to change someone's entire belief system is beyond me.
I'm an atheist too, but I respect those who have chosen religion. Sometimes it's good to do a bit of insighting or research into it. And don't you think that trying to impose something on another person almost forcefully is going against the ways of God? They are somewhat contradicting themselves

Metal is only has indistinguishable if you aren't used to it, when listening to Devildriver, I used to phase out and just hear it as instrumental when not paying attention, and now I can understand most of the lyrics, but then again, you have bands like Black Label Society which falls under blues metal, as I remember. And not all metal is emo, I'm not sure where this misconception came from. But then again, personal opinion is personal opinion, cannot get my head around people who like modern rap, but to be honest, if they want to listen to songs that have gratuitous swearing (not that aren't metal songs that don't have gratuitous swearing), and stuff to do with pimps, bitches, and hoes, or whatever the **** they are singing about, then they should just go ahead and listen to it, nobody really has a right to stop them, and I doubt that there is anyone that is truly justified in judging other people for their musical tastes. Personally, I enjoy many genres of music, but that is just me.
I would have thought Obscura was a better example for your point about metal that's to your taste.
I like it, at least.
I do like Obscura, their lyrics are really strange and poetic, they are, but I used Devildriver as the example because I actually understand most of their lyrics, although I can understand some Obscura lyrics. And if people want an example of Obscura lyrics, I will go with... Aevum, it is the one that I can understand the most of

Strangely enough, I have never met somebody who solely likes metal without going into other genres. Somebody at college likes Napalm Death, Devin Townsend, Iced Earth, Behemoth, but then he also likes stuff like Kunt and the Gang, and Clutch. On the other hand, everyone who I have met who likes rap generally only likes modern rap, and very little else. But that is just my experience, and I am not saying that all people are like this.
I like DevilDriver, really good band. lead singer looks slightly like a girl.
Anyone like Apocolyptia or Tristania
Not heard of Tristania, but I do like Apocalyptica (from what I've heard of them) Their Metallica covers were good, as well as the songs they have done with other people (I did like Bring them to Light, but I think my favourite was End of me). As for the best actual one of theirs I have heard, I would say either Hope, or Burn (as I remember, I will have to listen to their songs again before I make a final decision on that).
A good example of Tristania is the full version of Beyond The Veil, it's quite long, but very good I think.

I tend to go through getting achievements when I can, so I don't need to do the same thing twice. Videos are also up. =D
Good point there mate. I do pick up achievements as I'm going along sometimes, if there somewhat easy to medium difficulty to achieve

Just completed Portal 2 Co-Op with myself. Also netted a bunch of achievements, which takes my Gamerscore over the 8,000 mark.
I passed that few weeks ago, but I worry about finishing the game first then getting the achievements afterwards (Varies depending on the games difficulty)

ugh. This is why I hate the internet sometimes.
Computer viruses...there's just something about them that makes me want to track down the kinds of people who program and release them with such intent, and mash them to a bloody pulp with a blunt instrument until they stop moving.
Welcome to the club.
Do we team jackets upon entry?

Atreyu-The Crimson
bleh Try some thrash like Metallica, I think most people will agree that 80s Metallica, Testament and so on is quite a bit better than Atreyu. No offense to you meant, but I find them to be complete crap.
No offense taken :) Anyways, I'm quite a Metallica fan too. I Dissapear and Enter Sandman are in my top five of Metallica songs

Doubt it, he said himself on Twitter that he will never wrestle for the WWE ever again. Something to do with a deal falling through or something
