Isn't there any way to reason with him? I mean, I rememebr him saying "It's too far to go to Scotland for a shag", and I'll be spending the money to come down to you, surely this is something he'd approve of more than you going to Scotland?

Why is it that most things of decent grandeur I try to do come crashing down in an ungodly manner due to things outwith my control?

Welcome to life.
I'm fairly successful in life when it comes to smaller things, but first my trip to PortCon, then my craft fayre, and now my holiday, have all gone completely kaput

Delete kaput.exe and whatever is in kaput's directory. Usually, that stops the problem all together.
...can I delete Rob.exe? He's actually my main problem with this one

Unfortunately, he is something that appears as a virus, but will not disappear regardless of whether you uninstall him, delete him, or use any antivirus to try to get rid of him. Fully re-installing may work, or restoring life to a version about 7 years ago and trying to do things differently.
Aww Hell

Can I modify his coding a bit so he'll comply?

yeah internet-to-irl doesnt transition so well does it
It transitions well until something happens beyond anyone's control. I have a thing for this, for some reason. It nearly cost me my course the last time

But you chose that date! XD
With the expectation that GF would be available and that I could take the train back to Lincoln with him, instead of having to meet him in Lincoln at 4

What anti-virus do you use?

If it's AVG, set it so it can detect Tracking Cookies too - you'd be surprised at what they can do

Well, I'll only be there until 11.30, because if I plan to get to Lincoln at 4, that's the time I'll need to leave from Templemeads

So I probably won't be at the meetup, unless we can either pick another, earlier date, or GF can actually make it (this one is incredibly unlikely)

Gosick.
She certainly has the eyes and hairstyle, but Victorique de Blois has blonde hair and wears black
