Being proud does not make you a good builder Nar.   :yaya)

But if you insist it does, then come and get me bitch!  We'll see how good of a rammer/poker/hammer you can build with pride alone.

The Ounce - TEAM LEADER!
No. No! NO!

Wait that's not necessarily a bad thing :P

Well, I may have caused my team to lose last time, but what's passed is past, and with greater experience, I will not allow what happened last season to happen again!  With our combined skills and teamwork, Team 4TW will rise from the grave, and we will beat the asses of NNQEC into the ground!  YOU HEAR ME NARYAR???  WE ARE COMING FOR YOU!!!!!!

Hahaha I couldn't have asked for a better opponent!

Click prepare to be walloped!

Derp.  I see now.  =P

@ Resetti: It's a rammer, and it has Astroflights, but it's still moderately fast.

Minor Impulse: Can this get enough points compared to the others ?

Minor Impulse: Well that weapon's not going anywhere...
Foolish humans!  You should never underestimate the power of a sledgehammer:

This is long overdue if you ask me.  I was actually planning on posting this yesterday, but I've been busy with RL stuff so I wasn't able to.  A shame really since Click posted his yesterday, and now I feel like I've copied him.

Whatever, I'll start off by jumping on the bandwagon and showcasing some of my Space Arena creations.

First off is Skyrocket, a MW 4-Snapper flipper with 2WD NPC-T74s and Hypnos, 2 Micro Fusion Cells, and 5mm plastic:

The control board is in front of the NPCs.

It is VERY powerful; tosses HWs out of the arena with ease, but is very likely to throw itself OOTA instead of its opponent.

Next is Rain of Steel, a pretty standard hammer, but is different in some ways:

NPC-T74s
2 MFCs and 3 SECs
10 Rusted Axes
2 60kg sledgehammers protecting the front.
A skirt hinge with two 80cm angled plastic skirts at the back (for stability and protection).

The wide stance of the plows allows it to trap bots with ease, and the axes deal surprisingly high damage.

I have more custom bots, but this is all I'm showing for now.

I'm unbeatable in stock BTTBs. :gawe:   It's also nice that I have a >.5 difference above everyone else in the rankings.

A quick question though: I know there have been members who have successfully defended their championship title, but am I the first to regain it?

Nice match Vertigo, your bot was amazing, and once again, good tournament everyone!

Match Predictions:

Heat 1: A bit hard to determine because Kamikaze and Maniac are equal in terms of weaponry, but while Get Hammered Again has an advantage over both of them due to being a hammer, it's just way too fragile.  Kamikaze's speed and sturdy weapon should also be taken into consideration.

Winners: Child Prodigy and Kamikaze.

Heat 2: All of them look capable of beating at least one of their opponents.  It looks like it will be a close match, however I can't see Micro Mako's wedge being reliable nor TP-3 having enough power to fend off its opponents.

Winners: Breakfast and Micro Launch Platform +Mk3.

Heat 3: None of them are very well-built IMO, but Baby Thing and Ecam's Messenger have so little weaponry that I think the other two will go through despite lacking weapons themselves.

Winners: Drill Knife and Mr. Flibble.

Heat 4: I can't see Mr. Munchie BW winning at all, and I have doubts that NTR-003 is stable, but MacMillan looks a bit fragile itself, so who knows.

Winners: MacMillan and Puncture II.

Heat 5: I end up in a heat with two wedges and a HS that may or may not easily tear my wheels off: just my luck.  While I'm not sure about the deadliness of the Popup or the HS, I know I'm dead if Body Guard gets past my hammer.

Winners: Body Guard and Minor Impulse.

Heat 6: I really can't see Stupid Advertisements winning (sorry 027 LB), but the other 3 can very easily take each of their two opponents out.  It's still unclear to me, but if I were to guess right now, I would say:

Winners: Cataclysim and TesseracT.

Heat 7: Wraith and BMP certainly look deadly, but I'm not sure how well the HS will do, and ANAOARC...well... sucks, honestly.

Winners: Wraith and BMP.

Heat 8: Some of the deadliest bots in the tournament fighting in this heat.  Not sure if Get Snagged will do well against the spinners, or even the rammer for that matter, but Antaeus looks to be too reliant on those panels.

Winners: More Razors and Razey.

I have about 35kgs of spare weight left, what can I do with it?
Add a second wedge, and I'm pretty sure that's not a DSL control board on SB2.

On both, you don't need the T-connectors; you can just use two extenders to attach the weapons, like so:

A Dual Perm really is a minimum requirement for a HW SS if it hope to beat any other bot types.  Mag 6 just isn't enough.
Kinetic Cycle.

Nice lightweight BTW Vertigo.  Does it self-right well?

Quote from: Dante's Inferno Test
The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Seventh Level of Hell!

Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
Level | Score
Purgatory | Very Low
Level 1 - Limbo | Moderate
Level 2 | High
Level 3 | High
Level 4 | Low
Level 5 | Moderate
Level 6 - The City of Dis | Very High
Level 7 | Very High
Level 8- the Malebolge | Very High
Level 9 - Cocytus | High

Seventh Level of Hell

Guarded by the Minotaur, who snarls in fury, and encircled within the river Phlegethon, filled with boiling blood, is the Seventh Level of Hell. The violent, the assasins, the tyrants, and the war-mongers lament their pitiless mischiefs in the river, while centaurs armed with bows and arrows shoot those who try to escape their punishment. The stench here is overpowering. This level is also home to the wood of the suicides- stunted and gnarled trees with twisting branches and poisoned fruit. At the time of final judgement, their bodies will hang from their branches. In those branches the Harpies, foul birdlike creatures with human faces, make their nests. Beyond the wood is scorching sand where those who committed violence against God and nature are showered with flakes of fire that rain down against their naked bodies. Blasphemers and sodomites writhe in pain, their tongues more loosed to lamentation, and out of their eyes gushes forth their woe. Usurers, who followed neither nature nor art, also share company in the Seventh Level.

Hmm, I would've never thought I was that evil...

Didn't Ounce build something similar a while back? Still a nice design, though.
(Image removed from quote.)
Yeah, but I don't care: I feel honored whenever someone copies my designs.

Of course I had to sacrifice armor to improve the batteries, drive, and wedge, but it doesn't matter much.

Yours still looks somewhat formidable: If it does get entered into Mechapocalyse, then I look forward to facing it.   ;)
