I knew that Robo starts arguing if he doesn't like my opinion... i'm Not a and I don't fight back.

Oh, come on. This has nothing to do with "arguing if I don't like your opinion." Jarome Iginla is nearing the end of his career and doesn't have an adequate centerman to play with. Stajan, Hagman, Jokinen, Morrison and Tanguay are not adequate secondary scoring, and Calgary's depth players simply aren't good enough to hang with the West's elite.

On defense, they have massive voids to fill with the departures of Regehr and Phaneuf. Corey Sarich's contract is a boat anchor, and Jay Bouwmeester is probably the second most overpaid player in the NHL. Giordano's a very good d-man, but that's about all they have going for them. Guys like Babchuk and Hannan are just too slow to keep up.

Yes, Miikka Kiprusoff was a spectacular goaltender, probably the best in the league, but that was 5 years ago. He's regressed with age (if you don't agree, just look at his numbers), and since 2006, he's been an average starting goalie. Pekka Rinne, Niklas Backstrom and Tuukka Rask all would've been better options for Finland's 2010 Olympic team. Yet, Kiprusoff still carries the moniker of an elite NHL goalie, which he just isn't anymore.

To be quite honest, and I know this is going to read much harsher than I mean it, but I don't really care about your opinion. In fact, I'm just happy that someone else on this forum has even a passing interest in hockey and the NHL. The reason why I replied to your post is because I can't resist the chance to possibly talk hockey, not because I "don't like your opinion." But the Flames do suck. It's the truth :3

Vancouver? Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

You want to know how you spell "Miikka Kiprusoff" in english? O-V-E-R-R-A-T-E-D. Flamers are terrible. This isn't just my opinion, it's a fact.

Anyway, I've made my own opinions on 9/11 clear IRL and online before.
Why can we make fun of the holocaust but not 9/11? Why are Nazi jokes garenteed laughs but Al Queda group jokes not?

Making fun of terrorists has always been fair game :/

Anyways, my memory of 9/11 was watching it on the T.V. with my family. My Grandad, who was an extremely experienced and respected structural engineer, was on the phone with my Mum at the time. I remember him describing in detail that not only were the towers both going to collapse, but that they were going to "pancake." Sure enough, within minutes, the first tower came down exactly as he described.

Because of this, I laugh at anyone who tries to conclude that explosives brought the towers down because "they just don't fall like that on their own." They totally do, and any decent structural engineer knows this.

Just a question that I'm not sure was addressed already, but how are you going to classify SnS with horizontally spinning weaponry (like SnSnS)? Do they count as HS, or are they SnS and therefore do not need to abide by the no-HS rule?

Dude, close ties to Vacouver with that crash. Slovak national team captain and former Vancouver Canuck Pavol Demitra was on board, as well as many other former National Hockey League players (Josef Vasicek, Karl Rachunek, Ruslan Salei, and head coach Brad McCrimmon to name a few). McCrimmon had just this summer left his position as the assistant coach of the Detroit Red Wings to join Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the KHL to pursue his dream of becoming a head coach.

This just adds to a brutal, tragic and depressing summer in hockey. Soon after the Stanley Cup riots here in Vancouver, fan favourite tough guy Derek Boogaard of the New York Rangers was found dead in his hotel room due to a mixture of painkillers and alcohol. Soon after, former Vancouver Canuck Rick Rypien, suffering crippling depression, took his own life in his home. And just a week ago, Wade Belak, another fan favourite player, was found dead in his hotel room, from a rumoured suicide. Now this crash. For anyone who follows pro hockey as closely as I do, this summer has been absolutely gut-wrenching.

Well done, sir.

Although, if the purpose of the maces is to de-wedge bots, razors would probably work better. Irons for the main weapons seem fine.

You heard Atheist? If you like the prog element from Mastodon then you might like it. It's a bit more death metally but has a bunch of jazz elements.

I have not, but I'll have a listen. Any particular stuff of theirs you'd recommend?

In other news, I loved Truckfighters. Reminded me a little of Isis' Panopticon for some reason.

Listening to more new stuff! Bad Man by Freedom Hawk:

It's clear that when someone new comes along, he's going to be attacked no matter HOW hard he tries.

Yes, you're completely correct. Nightcracker and Geice and were absolutely brutalized by us, so much so that... what? They're both only a few months into their tenure and they're both well-respected members who regularily contribute? When did this happen??
