Here's a quickie I made to test Nightcracker's movepixel app. I was quite pleased with it. The roobt is Probophobia, I used a Perm-80 to power the arms (They line up with just enough space to pass around the back). They go all the way around but they can't lift anything heavier than the stray 259 disc in the botlab. Is it possible to make the perm powerful enough to lift?

Wow, Conraa, this is coming along beautifully. I just have 2 minor suggestions:
1) in the botlab, can you take the transparency away from the component selection menu? It's a little hard to see the components 2) TKO is only used when a robot loses due to immobility. A loss from destroyed control board or OOTA would be KO (I believe RA2 has seperate icons for "Destroyed" "Immobile" and "Eliminated")
Other than that, really great job, I can't wait to get my hands on it.

I dunno, I think you'd alienate a LOT of people by switching from knockback to life bar - that was something that set it apart from traditional fighting games. And I'm a nintendo purist- I think Nintendo should get the lineup from their own games, even if they have to introduce obscure characters; I mean, not too many people knew about Pit before Brawl but he went over pretty well. There's plenty of untapped potential: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lists_of_Nintendo_charactersI'd like to see a story mode with enemies from other games, not stuff like Primids that were specifically created for the Subspace Emissary.

Yep, same team. They had it stored away and then they revised it to look like an enemy turret or something, until they added a big flipper/scoop thing.

My guess would be a traditional ring spinner setup; take a look at this example: http://buildersdb.com/botpics/4262.jpg.The red wheels are motorized and spin the ring, leaving the inner body and wheels (at an angle for some reason) completely unobstructed from the spinner.

Gyrobot from RW Series 7 also had some genius design elements, particularly in its ability to spin regardless of whether or not it was inverted, and being able to double its spinning speed by rotating on the spot- it's just a pity we never really saw more of it.
Couldn't every invertible shell-spinner do that?

Cardboard replica of Kat 3. Funny story, the axe was a lot bigger originally, but I had to cut it down because it buckled under the weight of the paint.

Here's a cardboard Kat 3. It's been a while since I did a toy-sized cardboard replica, I like how it turned out: If you're wondering what I mean by toy-sized, take a look at this size comaprison to my 13 Black replica:

It's a joke, I'll give you a second to figure it out. If not: you know the expression 'Green eyed with jealousy'?

I write with my right, but I jerk lefty.
Does that make me ambidextrous?
Plenty of people can type with one hand.

I might not be thinking what you're thinking . Just to be sure, tell me if I'm on the right track with this statement:
They're salty but they aren't from the ocean.

Righties are stated to be more intelligent, as the left side of the brain is Logic
Lefties are stated to be more artistic, as the right side of the brain is Creativity
Gauche, the French for left, means "clumsy" and "stupid"
Droite, the French for right, means "deft" and "intelligent"
Back in Medieval times, you could be burnt at the stake for being a leftie (via accusations of witchcraft, simply for using a different hand)
I think you've got that backwards. Why doesn't the left hand correspond to the left brain?

Left. When I write I can see what's ahead of me, but I can't look back. Maybe it's a metaphor for life.
My hope has been renewed! :D
Lefites find it hard to write with an ink pen, as they can smudge the words, and get the base of their hand covered in ink.
Back in Victorian times, lefties were thought to be the devil and were forced to write with their right hand.
That always baffled me. Most of the Western world can trace its origins back to the Holy Land (If you're Christian Jewish or Muslim this probably applies to you). The 2 main languages there were Hebrew and Arabic, both of which were written right-to-left. I'd think that people would be encouraged to use their left hand to write, to prevent smudging the ink.

I chose 30, becuase I thought 30 in fbs_range referred to "30% of the length of the arena." What's a more reasonable value for fbs_range? 5? I'm most often going to be using the Robot Wars Arena.
I got my robot to SnS sooner than 30 seconds, I guess because of the huge range. But yeah I didn't pay attention to the weapon ID's so that is probably the cause.

I'm not sure. I think Wham's replica is the best anyone could make it given the tools available. But who knows? I might find myself needing a Cerberus replica someday.

Ah yes, that was a prototype that Wham made and shared with me. It must've gotten mixed in with the robots I gave you
