A handheld PS2 would be nice, but that one seems to have a strange configuration for D-pad in relation to the analog sticks. You would have to hold it weird for a lot of the games I would play.

I never saw a portable N64, but I know someone built a portable NES and SNES before.

Oh... I forgot to mention that thing had the hardest, most complicated case to open and get the front panel off of that I have ever seen. It was a total pain in the ass.

If that old best boots up and runs 98 or xp just fine... you have a nice retro machine to play old games that totally don't work on newer computers. *cough*comandandconquor 1*cough* My main PC does run XP... Just waiting to have the cash for the motherboard I want so I can get it up and running again. For now I have to deal with this laptop running Vista... Anyway... I finished tear-down and I can say that I didn't find much to be proud of in the guts of the fossil, but here's a short list. - 64MB stick of PC133 RAM - 750MHz AMD Duron processor - 20GB IDE Seagate hard drive - 8GB Nvidia TNT2 graphics card - 10/100 ethernet card - 56KB/s modem - IDE CD-ROM drive - IDE CD-RW drive - Floppy drive - 2 IDE cables - Floppy cable It's amazing that a PC could even boot-up with only 64MB of RAM at one point. It's also been a while since 20GB of storage was anywhere near sufficient. The case had clearly never been opened. It's specs were entirely stock to the case. What is funny is that it had a sticker on the side of the case that said XP was the OEM operating system, but in the disc storage compartment it has another one that says it came with Windows ME and it has the "Designed for Windows ME" sticker on the front... I'm pretty sure ME isn't compatible with the XP upgrade, as I once made the attempt to do so. This ended in just getting a computer with XP, because of the amount of failure. Plus, I'm pretty sure XP won't boot with only 64MB of RAM... Seems pretty fishy.

You made FotepX look even more like a faggot... And I would bet that your totally overestimating his package.
The appearance was as requested, and that's the pose and the angle that makes it look bigger
He asked to look like he was gay?

Lol, yeah. But mine still did worse. I'll keep at stock. I'm slowly getting better
I actually had better luck with DSL off the start than I ever had with stock after finding GTM.

I don't know why you are all using spoilers... You would have to be completely ignorant or just plain retarded to not predict that outcome.

No wiring issues ever happened and I'm running an early model Windows XP
That post isn't even relevant...
But anyways, my game started doing this today. In fact, it would take up to a minute between selecting a component and being able to attach it, then another minute to attach it. Made building very difficult. I have a feeling I know why (doing too much at once), but the wiring issue never happened before. I run 7 btw :P
That's to do with your RAM, and too many programs open at once, eating up RAM, and slowing your computer down. Close some of the background programs that aren't doing anything, then get rid of it. I use fullscreen RA2, so I'm not really able to run any background programs, or do anything with them.
Still not really sure about the wiring stuff, though. Perhaps you are using a key that RA2 doesn't recognise, such as the number pad on the right. Not every computer has one of those.
NFX has it right, most likely... Window Vista and 7 are both very heavy in comparison to XP and put strain on the system. Most PCs running Windows 7 have 4GB or more of RAM, but they need every bit of it to run anywhere close to smoothly. Espeically when multi-tasking.

WARNING: The following post may cause Badnik to blow his load. Use extreme caution! Found this at a thrift shop for $2.50 today. Yeah... That sucker is still factory sealed.

Found this dinosaur at a thrift shop for five bucks... I figured it would possibly be worth it for the parts. I'm about to begin tear-down on it. I will post my findings in a while. Now, let's just hope the hard drive isn't full of CP.

Every time I look at this thread, I laugh more...
You guys are never going to agree on what bots to add because there is no real criteria and really can't be... Plus, everyone is going to nominate their own bots, because they want to feel their e-penis grow a little if it makes the list.
You're all going to continue this circle jerk until it gets forgotten about and it will never happen. It was already forgotten about once... It's only a matter of time.

I don't have the disk for re-installing it.
Any one that does work on computers as a business or on the side would probably have one. Otherwise, I don't know what to tell you.

That would be more of an OS issue, but meh... Reinstalling the operating system would be your best bet.

I have acquired quite a bit of knowledge of computer hardware and components due to my tendency of piecing my computers together with parts that I find in secondhand shops and the trash.
Since I've been bored, I am going to start this for members in need of advice or assistance with such.
I may also use this as a thread to show off my latest finds.

I am also Scottish. Scottish and British aren't two seperate things just yet. Give it a couple of years, and you could be right. =P On the subject of me looking like Russell Brand...
...no, not really. It must be the hair, because your entire facial structure is different... Everything has different shapes and sizes.

There's also a Hell, Michigan.
Finland has a Hell too
So does Missouri... It's officially named Mexico, but the locals refer to it as Hell. Myself, included.
