But yeah, Troll's battle axes almost serves no purpose, but it's probably there as a rear stabilizer. At the time of SC3's completion, Rear armour was used because sneaking behind AI was a well used and popoular tactic. Ever since the creation of fast gut rippers, most bots had to focus on better wedges and better main weapons because by the time you turned you were probably against the wall at the red. Bots like BGG had Top armour to prevent Jabberwocky from dealing heavy damage early, but when HS became dominant, Hammers were used less and top armour became less important. In short, Rear and top armour became obsolete for battle, like Sledgehammers. How do I know? I looked at the archives. Lots of little gems in there.

For a Noob bot ItI V Made a lasting impression. Tenth Highest ranked bot in BBEANS5 with a score of 0.667, meaning that he will be the highest ranked bot considered to be a SFTW that wasn't in BBEANS 1. And as an extra kick in the pants of his victims, this thing single handedly kicked the ballast wedge craze into high gear.
Coolest Bot (original) - Bumble Bee
As much as people hate it, sage's bumble Bee just changed RA2. My forecast is more Armoured VS and Popups and less HS.
Coolest Bot (artistic) - Heaven's Sawmill
This bot looked awesome, and also fought awesome. Too bad the wedges were poor.
Most Fearsome Opponent - AC
Inf's Undefeated creation had a fearsome reputation. Most people who faced this beast were scared, and rightly so.

One of the worst draws to date. Two VS, two losses. Worse than Bounty hunter, at least it Beat ItI!

Edit: That flipper Has been done. SFTW though. Use a single castor (Green) for weight, and try for a better drive.
It also reminds me of a time when I had some fancy RC cars. One that shifted shape and another hopped about. I had a battle in my back yard.

that's the fun thing about RA2, there is no Superior bot. A LW could cream PYS AI HS but never last any match with an RFS bot without getting TKO'ed.
