Agreed, the game just goes FUBAR if you don't keep DSL and Stock separate. Heck, I keep those separate and have a launch for Starcore AI pack as well. It just keeps everything more stable, when you swap the stuff around between it all, chaos breaks out. ACAMS is just trying to help, so keep at it.
i think everyone here has had to reinstall the game quite a few times as they learned the ropes... its all part of the fraternal hazing.

Excellent bot! Simple and effective. You are getting pretty decent.

Condor's Predictions: Lament Configuration: Can it selfright? Other than that, it's a big freakin' disk. Pretty good. . Nope, It cannot self right. I didn't bother because after extensive testing it only was flipped over once in every 10 or so matches. Once it is flipped over, its done. It is nearly impossible to flip it back upright after that. I am really just hoping that is corners most bots or gets them into the wall effectively.

Also, can we cut the crap about LRA2, and the grudge matches, and n00biness, and all the other stuff? Pwn and I have both made some predictions, and you have to reach back about eight pages for them in the span of a few hours. Let's all just move on and analyze the upcoming tourney that JB's gonna put on for us.
Agreed. Lets focus more on the tourney and less on the distracting crap (you know what I mean).

Hey, Just wanted to give you props for putting the tourney together and enduring all the anguish of setting it up. You are right that this is your first tourney. You are doing a great job and we all make mistakes. Tourney hosts, always, traditionally take some flak for things not working out or being precise... but we use these things to learn and have more fun next time. Keep up the good work! You have my respect, I will enter any future tournaments you have.

Wow! some amazing matches there. Congrats Scrap on your victory against an almighty popup. Bravo Roboshark with your popup... you destroyed my bot rather amazingly.
To the losers bracket I go... probably against Starcore. I have faced him once with Hellbringer before and didn't fare well then. Probably will not do any better this time either.

I have a fresh download of DSL 2.1 without any add-on stuff (save for the anti-ballast). The drill is in my components list. I would have to say that it is legal for the tournament. Unless, someone can prove me wrong.

Good attempt... not quite what i had in mind. I should have been more clear... try to set them up like this... so that your irons will be able to hit no matter where they are. example:

I guess I will register... How much time after registration close do we have to submit a bot?

That last one is kinda good, could use less empty space though. Agreed. You are improving. See if you can make that chassis smaller and maybe squeeze two plows on there in a v-shape formation.

Your ability to accept feedback and actually make improvements is admirable.
Unlike some of the other new members kicking around here *cough*
Keep it up man, you are doing well. Once you learn this stuff it sticks with you.

Do the razors really help much? (both the fixed ones and the spinners) And what of the maces on the butt? I was going to suggest ditching the spinning razors and replace them with small extenders to point a few more irons outwards to join the others. I tried to do a mock-up to screen shot but i could not get the extenders to point outward in a uniform way that would be nice and tidy. But I think you know what I mean. Just a suggestion. Looks cool though. How combat effective is it so far?
