Yes, please.

Like the title says, I've got the body all assembled for my Hydra       replica, but I realize upon inspection that the skin is beyond what I   can do with my skills. So, I'm offering a trade; do this skin justice (More that what I can do which is drawing it in Paint)  and I'll let you pick my next replica.

Anything   from Robot   Wars is fair game, even the ones they   made pullbacks out of.  I'll   let you pick any scale you want, although   curvy and domed shapes like Blendo or Destruct A Bubble will be  difficult, and will look like     <bleep> but if you want it I will  make it.

Here's what the original looked like:

The pattern is the same at the back and right sides

Here's the skin:

BTW The fork-thingies are going to be made from components so they aren't part of the chassis skin

Any takers would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

I'm being told that my new topics are empty when they aren't, and I'm not sure how to resolve this.  I have text and pictures in the message body, and I''ve no idea why it's rejecting my new post.  The section I'm trying to post in is the CAD showcase.  EDIT: I can circumvent it by cutting some of my post but it's still something I thought I should bring to your attention

That could be done.  Does the item in question have to be really long? I don't want it to interfere with the 360 degree arc so I was thinking of using a hacked beater bar.

I refuse flatly to give anybody like sparkey any contact details like that.

what the hell could I possibly do to someone in wales. MOmmmyyyy can we fly to the ukkkkk i have to rape someoneeeeeeee

He's talking about spamming and harassment.

I think Twitter's a bit of a joke TBH.  Complimenting someone on a well-crafted 22-odd words?  I've better things to do with my time.

There's always one.
Let me make this clearer: Why can't I bring my ipod that has 200+ songs, but here we're limited to 8 ?

Becuase this is supposed to be about your favourite music, not how to outsmart the scenario.

Another Cardboard Replica, S3.  Would you believe less than 24 hours from start to finish?

And here's a picture of S3 chilling on my shelf.  It looked so chill that I just had to share it with you (The shelf is right behind my computer):

Thx Ashman.  Would you believe I have another one finished already?  S3, took me less than 24 hours start to  finish:

8 songs is just enough to take the entire tracklist of "Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog;" excluding the songs that are less than a minute.  I'd go with that so that I could act out the entire musical to pass the time

Now that I think about it, money isn't really what I should be asking for - more than money what I need is more free time, and art.  What I'd really like is someone to draw my GTM Land or MLP comic ideas.

Or in exchange for a bigger art project, someone to handle postproduction on my replica torunament videos.

A thought occurred to me; the robot Spinner From The West is technically public domain, It'd be legal for me to charge money for a SFTW cardboard rep.  GTM, Out of curiousity how much would you pay to own one?
£10
(Oh wait you are in America)
A cheeseburger $10?

10 pounds is quite a bit more than 10 dollars.  Tryin'a pull a fast one on me? ;)

1) I'll see what I can do, it is a bit hard to see I'll admit.

2) I put KO as the immobile icon because in boxing when you're counted out it's classed as a KO
Quote from: Wikipedia
A knockdown occurs when a fighter touches the floor of the ring with any part of his or her body other than his or her feet following a hit. The term is also used if the fighter is hanging on to the ropes, caught between the ropes, or is hanging over the ropes and is unable to fall to the floor and cannot protect him or her self. A knockdown triggers a count by the referee; if the fighter fails the count, then the fight is ended as a K.O
I put TKO as the control board destroyed and the eliminated icons.

Fair enough. I was basing my definition of KO vs TKO on the way Mark Beiro called the Battlebots matches (and assumed an OOTA would be KO, because there is no OOTA zone in Battlebots.)

I suppose you're right, consdering that they offered a cash prize.  Perhaps they shouldn't have done that - then it becomes all about winning

I feel that the most entertaining designs come out of the woodworks when the primary motivation is the chance to be on TV.

yeah, the goal of any competition is to win, this was a telly program- slightly different it was for entertainment. but saying that you have to have the good robots to balance out ordinary peoples atempts. im half glad that robot wars ended when it did, after the same basic robots winning, the audience would have got bored, and given up on the idea of robot combat(in the uk at least)

yeah ti is good stuff, i have some on my antweight and fleas

Not sure if I agree with that - compared to Battlebots, Robot Wars was pretty good about avoiding the same basic robots winning.  Sure,  Razer and Tornado won everything in the 2 Extremes, but Razer stepped down eventually and, there were new great designs popping up every series.

Even in Series 7 - only 3 robots made it to the semi's in both S6 and S7, and 3 other S6 semifinalists had retired.

And Storm 2 looked invincible in its TV run, but it got pwned by Supernova in some unseen footage, and completely outclassed by Sewer Snake when it travelled to America - in hindsight it may not have breezed through the Series 8 that never was.

No, HERE'S the guy that will play Pyro.  His name is Jesse Heiman, but he's better known as The World's Greatest Extra, having appeared as an extra in tons and tons of movies & TV shows:

"Hey world's greatest extra, I've got a part for you, and it's a speaking role"
"Sweet!  I'm in"

Don't think so, event if you made it like a servo it still wouldn't be able to

Not the most complicated rep you've done Sonny :P, still, very nicely made nonetheless

Thanks.  I built it because I need it for a video.  I think my next one will be a lot more colourful.
