More bad news. It turns out I completely screwed up my first year in university, and mum wants me to completely cut off my girlfriend until I pass the exams. She can go <expletive> herself on that subject.
Give her some reasons that you should stay with her (more than just the attempted suicide.) Remind you mum that you are an adult, so her "orders" are just suggestions.

Though I know I could make a better/ more modern logo then the current one I refuse to do so..
See you may not know but the entire theme ACAMS made on this forum is basically identical looking to the original RA2 forums (only saying GameTechMods not Robot Arena 2) by Atari after it went down.. its made this place really feel like the home to RA2 since.. Im too fond of it and its history to tamper with it..
You dont fix what aint broke..
Do you mean the current ash-and-white look, or the way the forum a few years ago beofre the overhaul?

No no- I just liked the first one more, perhaps not as much as the current one but I think it's the better jumping-off point of the two. In fact you're right- I should be presenting solutions, not problems. Let me get us on the right track by sharing what I'd make if I were a pofessional graphic designer.
The logo itself would be a gashed-up steel plate with "Gametechmods" written on it in the Robot Arena 2 font. In the background there would be be lines of code (in green-against-black like you see on computers in movies) and a robot blueprints; more detailed than the chassis-shaping grid in the RA2 botlab, a sketch that shows an outline of the structure, plus some of the components in place. The whole thing rests against a series of gears that make up the outer border.

If the two you presented wrere the only two choices, I'd go with the first by far. Sure it's generic, but at least it spells the name out in full. There's no shortage of things "GTM" can stand for: http://www.acronymfinder.com/GTM.htmlAnd that monstrosity of a robot as our mascot? I'm sorry to whoever made it, but it's really ugly - from a selling & advertising perspective it looks like an arts and crafts project that someone abandoned after they spilled glue over all the pieces.

The Brute. Artwork drawn freehand in Paint using only the picture below as a guide, while working on a canvas magnified 24x. The floor is blue because the blotlab went Minecraft on me all of a sudden (If anyone's really interested, say so and I'll post the full screencap in Tech Support)

Since every version of Smash Bros has an alternate version of Link (Young link in Melee, Toon Link in Brawl), the next one should have "CD-I Link"

You mean how did I get the skin on? I found an online program that converts images to TGA's

Hydra's finally done. Thanks to Joeblo for the skin and Preytor for the flipper arm's skin:

Hi again, I need another little favour. Would someone be willing to reskin the T-Minus flipper TGA file using this?: Thanks so much!

Storm II.
I don't see why that's a troll, Storm II would be one of the easiest reps you could throw at me. @Prey, Is the Series 5/Nickelodeon version ok? It was about 20% more badass than the subsequent versions (I didn't like the flattened chassis and the un-sleek flipper). I'm probably going to do GF's first I hope that's ok too.

In hindsight perhaps I shouldn't have. I'm sorry, I hope I don't come across as a terrible person renegging that one condition. I just have some insecurities about when my art can be compared side-by-side to a prfessionally-done version of the exact same thing

I'm hesitant on Sir K because they made a pullback and an RC of him - I find it more exciting when I'm making a 3-d structure out of 2-d pictures.

I agree - Smash balls were entertaining at first but a real annoyance in combat. My brother and I always played with Smash Balls disabled, and eventually we disabled a bunch of other unbalanced items too (hammers, stars, heart containers, maxim tomatoes, bob-ombs,)

And the large Beater Bar is Spinner From The West with no saw or wheels from far away.

There actually is some truth to the whole "flails multiply damage done" Of course it should only be effective on plywood-strength armour, not steel and titanium that most robots use

I'm proud of myself actually, I finally figured out the colour scheme - a shiny ebony body with a copper-coloured bumper. (That's why I was hesitant to do Mortis before but now I'm all over it)

Thanks so much you guys! @GF, The thing about the BB version is that I'm not sure about the exact shapes of the special armour plates based on that one glare-y photo, and I know there are some at the back that I'm missing. However, I can do the Series 4 version no problems at all.
Prey you can pick a cardboard replica too, let me know as soon as you decide
EDIT: You were nija'd, but I'll keep to my word for both of you.
Joe, thanks so much for the skin! Do you want any cardboard related compensation?
Also, I made a version with your signature on the bottom panel so that if Hydra gets flipped (its first match is against Tsunami so there's quite a possibility), everyone will see who made the skin.

There's a file in the zip called "Mouse.exe." Where do I want to put that?

Sure thing, here you go, In fact anyone who wants it can have it; an empty box-wedge isn't exactly a trade secret. https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/Hydra.zip.zipOut of curiousity GF, what program do you use for tasks like this?

It's a lot more absolute (or Absolut as long as we're on the topic of alcohol) than you'd think. You don't have any privileges revoked right? So as long as you keep out of trouble you're as good as 0% watched.
