Back to some Regular DSL Building, and the first draft of my NAR AI team. You will have seen some of these before. Fly Trap: 2 razors, 4 light DS Teeth. Astro drive, also invertible. I forget what armour it has, probably Plastic 1. Mouse Trap: Basically Puncture III, but with a less exposed CF Extender. Plastic 1, but it doesn't need any more. Rat Trap: Also Crab Salad IV. Lots of weaponry, strong drive, and pretty tough. A well-balanced machine, I reckon. Bear Trap: Showcased previously. Nice and wide to take out spinners and the like, outweapons most other MW's. Man Trap: Also previously showcased. Invertible, very damaging, good against anything that doesn't outweapon it. Death Trap: Invertible Drum/HS Hybrid. 60 Light DS Teeth, Normal NPC's for better HP. 6 Ants, and good chassis protection.

Is that why he didn't fire when The Highlander was on top of him?

Certainly looks like a pretty good setup. How often do the lower weapons come into play, though?

Looks like it to me. There's a secret AP on the back of the SnapperII, where you could attach another extender to add more motors and such.

Is it not about time for GTM Awards 2011? o:
I was just thinking that. =D I was wondering if I should do the building Ranks at roughly the same time.

Not bad at all. Even with only a chassis, it looks excellent. Aspiring IRL builders could learn a lot from your style.

Nippy enough, I'd say. That's a good way to describe it. Fast enough to get the the opponent, but not fast enough to forward-flip out of the arena on the first impact.

I would personally go for Perm 132's over Four-Mags if you can. More HP, less weight. I think slightly more power as well. Might give you the weight for two extra flail razors on each disc, if you drop down to either Tite 3 or Plastic 5, because Steel 3 isn't terribly efficient.

Speaking of RC Helicopters, my girlfriend genuinely got her dad, for Christmas, this:

Who's the ghost?
Suzume
Ok.
He's here to provide snark, invasive remarks and fits of hilarity whilst no one in the cast can see or hear him
Ah, so he's the Narrator. =D Sounds excellent.

ORLY? I thought it permanently snows in Scotland!
This is a common misconception. For about three days in mid-July, we may get some sun. December and January often bring frost and ice, but very little snow, and the rest of the year is occupied by either rain or perpetual cloud cover. There are even some days when we have no weather at all.

Yet more IRLism. If you've been lurking over on ARC, you may recognise this one. 6 Astros & Wide Ants, in case anyone's interested. Alu extenders look a bit out of place to me, but it's the best I could manage. 393-ish, more chassis height BFE, and yet another 512x512 skin.
