This is one of many reasons why I advocate an Internet License. If you want to use the Internet, you gotta pass a basic test. If you want to post, you need a new license entirely. Same goes for Online Gaming. In order to take this hypothetical test you must be at least 8 years old and know the basic functions of a computer. You cannot use a microphone until your voice has broken. I know many would be opposed to this idea and it would never be accepted, but it would solve so many problems.

I always thought Ironforge was a strange hybrid of DSL-S and IRL, especially considering the AI teams in it.
I'll sit this out if it's pure Standard, I think. But good to see this is making a comeback.
The AI bots in Ironforge are supposed to be IRL so they are [somewhat] easy for n00bs. Nobody said you can't enter IRL bots either, as the follow all the guidlines of a normal bot (aka no intersecting parts and stuff like that)

I see no reason why it would not be a standalone thing, as it would be much easier to use as you won't have to download all these other things and then install it over.

I would just make it all standard or all irl, a mix usually just ends in people bickering.
the only people who complain are the people too lazy to actually send something when signups begin and then complain a week later that someone took their spot. plus there is no limit on entries, so nobody really has a reason to complain unless whoever sends in their bot first in some n00b with like 8 posts and picks a terribad teams.
