Awesome. =D I take it they'll be IRL designs?

Learn stacking and the eFFe glitch. That will help you immensely with this sort of bot. You really do need razors, and you really do need a chassis wedge.

The problem with YouTube is that people like idiots. Like Fred. The most popular people on YouTube seem to be imbeciles, from what I can work out.

I liked when Geice arrived, and everyone was like "BWOAH YOU MUST BE SAGE DOUBLE ACCOUTING" and so forth.

Looking very nice indeed now. =) The next step for this design would be to fully learn Snapper Loading, but that may be slightly advanced for you at the moment. I'd advise you keep the pictures of the bot quite concise, though, without unnecessary text such as the previous one. You could always type out everything in a post, rather than putting text on the picture.

I'm sure someone would.
Besides, I don't think 1WD would necessarily work with balanced spinners. It worked with your Dark Void 2, and my 45HS, because they had one and three spinners respectively, and the reaction force of the weaponry was counteracted by the torque of the drive motor. 2707

How about in Series 3, when Sump Thing was twirled around on Sir Killalot's drill, and it basically fell apart?

Chaos 2 vs. Killerhurtz, First World Championships. A few good hits in that fight, and it wasn't nearly as one-sided as you would think.

It doesn't need a srimech. It'll still attack the opponent while it's upside down, it just won't move. Most of the time, you'll KO your opponent before you get inverted anyway, so it doesn't really matter. But the extra iron will definitely help, otherwise you'll almost certainly be outweaponed and KO'd.

I wouldn't suggest razors or plastic on this. Razors are extremely fragile, and you're going to be outweaponed by any other decent HS build if you use them. I would stick with irons for this.
This looks like a very decent build there. If you rotate the extenders 90 degrees, the ones that are on the tribar, then you would have both Irons striking the opponent at the same time, so that would cause more damage. The blade on the Snapper also seems a little bit wasteful and pointless, I would personally remove it, and use the weight to get that extra razor on, and possibly some more defenses, such as casters or another plow. 2711

It looks remarkably like Supernova to me, I would say it's perfectly IRL Realistic. It's just used some efficient components (granted I wouldn't have put 8 Light DS Teeth on there), but I can't personally see anything wrong with it.

Very nice indeed. I especially like the transparent part of the chassis, and the motor supports are very nice as well. Also Ascent 2 Stardom font.

That sounds like a pretty decent idea. I might widen the chassis a little bit to conceal the axles of the NPC's as well. You don't see motor axles sticking out like that very often. =)

With the razors dragging along the ground, I'd imagine it would either score quite low on damage, or tip backwards when it hits a bump. It's a fairly good build, but I'd perhaps try and come up with a better setup for the weaponry.

I didn't think of that while I was building it, though. I seem to do that more often than I probably should. Also, Death Trap close up for anyone who's interested. ![]() 2720

You always run that risk if you leave the AI'ing to the tournament host. If he'd AI'd it himself, how he wanted it to operate, then this problem wouldn't have arisen. I'm going to side with freeziez and marty here, if you wanted to be sure that something like that wouldn't happen, then you really should have AI'd it - or at least placed the smartzone - yourself.
