090901 is only joshing you, you don't have to ban them; people will probably find a thousand ways to circumvent such a ban anyway.

The chassis has to be higher than the spinning ring, and you put the burst motor in the part of the chassis that's above the spinner.  The flipper cannot intersect with the spinning ring.

Thanks, I thought you'd like it.  It will be in my next video series (figured out the theme yet?), and you won't be disappointed.

God, I'm tired of everybody bashing on Hard Bot and GTG, it's not funny anymore.
And oddly enough, i got banned from the new member's section without even being online the whole time the topic was no locked.
Everyone did I think

I didn't.  A cute girl from Vancouver just joined and she posted some really saucy photos of herself.

Normally I don't do replicas that everyone and their dog has done, but I decided to go for it since no Terrorhurtz replica so far has been made with a proper double-headed axe.  Here's Terrorhurtz:

This was a part I was particularly proud of myself for, you probably can't see it in the other photo but I rigged up a small beater bar on a servo piston so that it looked and functioned like Terrorhurtz' ripcord going back and forth with the axe swing.

You're not sucking, you just forgot to cover some bases from ACAMS' set of rules:

-If Multibots are allowed/their Max weight/if one is out are both out
-Type of bots allowed/disallowed (some people have strong opinions on crawlers, popups, and SnS so make sure you're clear.)
-If Multibots are allowed/their Max weight/if one is out are both out
-Arena to be used/Arena hazards on or off.
-Nobody can be entered until a bot is received and accepted
-State if bots can be upgraded, and how may times/until when, and if bot type can be changed

You might as well cut out the middle man and do a drawing of the Columbine High School Massacre.

That's uncalled for.   Besides, he was probably inspired by "Dead Rising," an FPS shooting game that takes place in a mall.

To be fair, the point of the show is to repulse you - the producers know that this is shocking, hence why the majority of asides are from the mom's cousin who is similarly bemused.

The problem most likely has to do with the arena or one of the opponents you're facing.  What arena and opponents were you using before your game crashed?

Do some exhibition matches in an an arena that doesn't crash on you, going against the AI bots one at a time.  My theory is that only a certain opponent will crash your game, you jsut have to figure out which one.

Does it work in the botlab and test garage?
Have you made any changes to the AI bots?

I'm not into remakes, but here are some franchises I'd like to see them continue:

Katamari Damacy (there were plans to have a regular DS version, but it fell through)
Proper Chibi Robo (NOT that half-assed "Park Patrol"
Paper Mario (At least one of these will come true)
Pokemon Snap
Hotel Dusk
9 Doors
Pokemon Colosseum

So, would anyone be willing to teach me how to do the AI thingy Sonny's talking about? And is there any screenrecording program anyone could recommend? (I've been looking for one for ages, actually, 'cause I want to make art tuts)

Here's a good tutorial to the AI thing; it's better than what I had in mind because you don't have to overwrite any existing bots:

As for Fraps, it's good for recording RA2, but it doesn't record desktop programs like Photoshop.  CamStudio is the program that the Mario Paint recorders swear by, maybe give it a look.

Lucky

I earn £8/€9/$12 per week. Forty hour week, £4/€4.5/$6 per hour

Don't you hold a degree in psychology? Why aren't you doing psychology stuff?

Ah I see, I didn't consider music; it was never really one of my pastimes.  Is this a guitar that you could haggle for?

What kind of expenses do you need to cover at 16?  I mean yeah when I was 16 I spent a lot on model kits and paint but it's not like I would have died without them

and how would I go about the various parts of a tournament?

There's 5 questions you should be able to say yes to:

Do you have a set of rules in mind that you're willing to stand by? (Yes, most definitely)
Can you AI (not making the bindings, just inserting the tournament bots into the AI slots)?  (No, but I can learn)
Do you have a screen recorder? (No, but I can get one)
Do you have the time and interest to see this through all the way to the end? ("this" being 15 battles, and awards) (If people don't mind that the battles will probably be one per day, then yes)

The 5th question was going to be "Can you make a good looking splash and brackets" but I've seen your art, so I think it's a given that you can.
I'd also need prizes... which is the one thing that I'm properly stuck on now e_e

One a day is fine, if you can stick to that, then you're golden.  I'm pleased with your answers, very much so.  The fact that you're thinking about prizes is another thing that makes you above-average already.

Artwork is a great idea, you could offer a custom decal as a prize; that way people who won could display it on their 'bots in subsequent torunaments.

Revised Run Away - most notably I replaced the lawnmower blades with mor accurate representations of Run Away's blades.  They have to be mounted a little high to not scrape the ground.
