T'was over for me when I lost the spiked flipper in the first 15 seconds- not being able to core points against an invertible one and a semi-reliable self righter = lose. if that's any consolation. Besides,
you were s'posed to flip me so that I could show off The Morgue's self righter : P. Ironically enough, my bot's ludicrous rollbars were the reason I survived the axe attacks you didn't.
More to do with you helping him back up after I'd flipped him. Had you not done that, he'd have gone out, instead, and regardless, I'd have won anyway without you having that spikey bar thing. Although, I did demonstrate the rollcage a couple of times whilst I was in there, got some good flips in, and I did get rid of Hard Bot, which I hoped I'd do. I'm just annoyed that again, I fell victim to this pattern I always seem to have for tournaments revolving around rumbles- dominate the fight, and then die right at the end to some lucky smegger in ridiculous circumstances.
Does a grudge match at the end of the series sound good, then?
I'm down with that; maybe just you and me GF?

I can't actually think of any games that I have played which have a wretched storyline. Tony Hawks American Wasteland, possibly. But that whole game was in itself a trainwreck.

Agreed, in retrospect. Maybe I did go a little too far. But yes, I do agree there. The Tony Hawk series went a bit downhill after Pro Skater 4.

Crackdown 2 has one of the worst storylines ever. The only thing that keeps it going as a 'good' game is the open environment.
Whenever I think of "Crackdown", I always think of the old Mega Drive game of the same name
