Well, as Naryar said, custom parts aren't allows in tournaments. Though how much you cheat depends on what custom parts you are using. Obviously using Fish or Burgers is not the same as Anti Ballast, Energy Spike, or Fridge Motor.
Aside from that, the only real place for them seems to be the "custom component" section, where you can post bots with custom parts.

I am not a big fan of new games, since those first person 3d graphic gives me a headache.
1. Freecell 2. RA2 DSL (never liked stock much) 3. Immortal Defense 4. Starcraft 5. Street Fighter Alpha 3

I think halfsheet is really going to help here since based on the way it looks, I suspect that the bottom will get hit a lot.

The only thing that's keeping this from being totally evil is axle + razor on 9 of them, and razor on the remaining 3 (which comes out to exactly 120).
And I check out FBS.py a bit. Definitely like the translational drift idea. It does seem to come with a price though. That is, it seem to spins slower than FBS_1.py on field test.

Oh okay thanks. I will try to make something that looks nice (though probably not combat effective).

I can't find any topic on it on "contest and tournament", any ideas about the specific rules and where to sign up?

I like the way Kheper turn out. It's one of those rare cases where a bot without wedge (excluding sns/shell spin) is actually good at the competitive level. Although my guess is that it will have problems with VS.
Also, what is this crash cube 3 you guys are talking about?

Analog bug only works when a real person is holding the button the whole time. The computer will stop firing in many occasions regardless of what you have on your AI (such as when opponent's timer comes up, or the whole pulsing every second problem). The only way you can really imitate flame thrower @ full length for the entire match is just use a custom flamethrower (or gas tank) component. It's not cheating if it is only imitating what a real person can do.
Though for smelter, I think you need 2 co2 large for 4 flame to fire @ full length at start.

Is it really realistic for the hammer to go through most the plow like that?
Aside from that, frenzy has the tendency to deal a lot less damage than other weapons of the same DP. 30kg siege hammer with dsl bar for example should yield more damage on the actual battlefield.

Wait why can't people vote base on looks for BOTM when we can do that during the presidential election? Shouldn't people at least have to freedom to vote without getting banned?

Middle management would do nothing but kill the community. I mean the only reason anyone puts up with them is because they need the money from the job.

Since this is all about look, I pick #1.
I just have to mention it. The yellow tint on #4 bothers me to no end.

For wordalf, maybe use something longer than mace (perhaps iron spikes) to give your front a bit more width. It should make it slightly harder to hit those wheels.

Use large co2 tanks instead of small. Yes it makes that much a difference.

And by the fact that ALL DSL parts state HP, AMP/DP. Wouldn't that be nice if it's actually true. It would have saved me a lot of time digging through those txt files. Besides, i thought other parts doesn't even show unless "cheatbot2" was used.
