He said he was going to probably do the second tourney in a month or two. This is not the official sign-up for that tourney. When/if he announces it, there will be a sign up then. Stay alert and voice your desire then. Nobody is going to remember this thread in a month.

Thanks for learning how to post pictures in your message. It makes it far easier to look at your bots.
I like DirtDevil2. It looks cool. You will find that some members on the forum will respect that you favor building realistic bots and you will find that other members will constantly overlook your desire and prod you to make them more combat effective. Do not be discouraged by this and continue to have fun. It looks like you put a lot of effort into your building.

it's a pity you do not show more bots, first because your DSL one was noticeable, second because i like the bot you show in your signature's picture : not killer but so well painted .
please show us your Stock ones. Heh, thanks! The bots in my sig are both from olllllllld contests held on the original RA2 forums. Neither one is effective at combat. The Hammer bot on the left was built for a Building contest that ACAMs hosted. The military themed one on the right is for a bot skinning contest from back then too. ACAMs had a prebuilt chassis that everyone had to skin. Thanks for your compliments. I will do my best to post more soon!

However, here is my in-depth analysis:
Yoshi64900 hasn't show up around here in a while... I am guessing that he may have moved on from RA2 and left us all behind.
Psycolone is quirky... kinda reminds me of Cartman... One moment he is totally into things, the next moment he is: "Screw you guys... I'm going home." He might submit a bot, but only if he is damn well ready.
Kill343 seems to be off and on the forums lately... I am beginning to wonder if he forgot that he joined this tourney altogether. Did anyone send him a PM?
II more than likely has a bot ready. He just needs to make time between the 6 girlfriends, 3 sports, classes, sleeping, parties, and general bathroom daily requirements to finish it up. I vote that he delays taking a leak at somepoint during the day to just finish the AI line and get it over with. :P

Not surprised that I lost, I can't build stock for sh** anyway. Don't be too hard on yourself. It could have gone either way. I think the nervous Srimech on my bot had a lot to do with how things went. It was a great match & it had me really nervous after the first round. If it makes you feel any better... I still have yet to build a popup ever.

I dont mind it as it got Ambrose out of V8 Supercars :P Ha! That is pretty funny! I like Marcos, he has a lot of personality and drives with intensity. I am also taking this moment to note that I am joining a Dodgeball League team in a couple of weeks. Wish me luck. Giving and Receiving physical abuse for the win. It is the closest thing to Fight Club I can get involved with around here...

I was supposed to write a skinning tutorial last year... but, I got a bit tied up. I hope to do it someday though. I agree with you on looking for unique pictures online and using the best parts for the design of the bot.

I've never been able to get angled wedges to be effective ever. 3 pinks seems a tad thin on the power side... I take it the bot shoots for the 1 hit KO and it is not made to endure a full match? Looks cool. I recommend rotating the HPZ's to see if you can hit a "sweet" flat spot to correct the drive problem.

hm. I will lose cause of the lazy ass splash I did. If i had a dime for every time you say you are going to lose a tourney... I am going to go on a limb here and guess that you believe in jinxes. So you claim that you are going to lose when, in fact, you are actually a decent contender. Or! This is like a poker bluff... your splash does not suck at all... You are claiming that it is a lazy splash to confuse people so that they wont vote for the pretty splash one based on the possibility that you made it. You want votes for your bot to be genuine, so you play mind games on the community. Ha! I got you figured out Dr. Evil.
