BATTLE AND FORMAT RULES
Music, artwork, results tables, etc, will be stolen from based upon the 2014 revival series with Sandi Toksvig, but will be edited a little.
1 minute fights. There will be a lot of them.
Fifteen To One Arena (Official Robot Arena 2 Tournament Arena with a lame skin.)
Hazards on.
If a robot havoks then I will restart the match. I will keep restarting until there is a havok-free match. Fights with havoks will not be shown.
The way I run the tournament will depend on how many entries I get. I will need the entries to be a minimum of 75 and then progress up in blocks of 15. (75, 90, 105, 120, etc.)
Robots will be split up into the appropriate number of heats consisting of 15 robots in each.

Round One
 - Each competing robot is given a number from 1 to 15.
 - Each competing robot will start with 3 lives.
 - Each robot will face a robot made by me, they will face the same robot.
 - If they lose to my robot, then they lose a life. Win and they keep their lives.
 - Repeat this two times, meaning each robot will be guaranteed two fights.
 - If a robot loses both of it's two fights then it is eliminated from the tournament.
 - Robots which lost one or none of their fights go on to Round Two.

Round Two
 - The surviving robot with the lowest number will then choose (nominate in Fifteen To One terms) another robot to fight against.
 - The robot which loses the fight will lose a life.
 - The robot which wins will then nominate the next robot to fight against.
 - Once a robot loses all three of it's lives it is then eliminated from the tournament.
 - This cycle repeats until all but three robots are eliminated.

Heat Final

Grand Final
This will work the same as a heat but will contain heat finalists/high scorers/winners depending on the number of entrants. The robot that wins the final round will be declared the Fifteen To One Grand Champion.

ENTRANTS
AI'd and accepted.
Accepted.
You need to change your robot.

MY ENTRY AND SPLASH LAYOUT

Picture of the robot goes in the digital bit in the top left.
The number in the bright blue segment will change depending on what number the robot is in the heat.
I will not be entering as a competitor but I will be building a lot of robots to be used in Round One and the Final of the heats and Grand Final.

*Breathe.*

Playoff

GRAND FINAL

Congratulations to...

I've decided not to do Grudge Matches this time around, nor an Awards Thread, and would like to bring this tournament to a close, Craaaaaig has been PM'd and this thread will be moved to Completed Tournaments in a while.

Thank you for watching, check out Fifteen To One when it hits the Discussion section.

Warning, this video contains robots having intercourse. It was unlikely to have been consensual.
Low Hanging Fruit is plowing Wildlife. Sounds like something Jonzu would be into.
I feel so violated. 123 is a rapist.

After Scrapheap Challenge is finished I'm going to try to make a tournament which is based around Fifteen To One. If you know the premise of the show it will be easier to explain.
Video of an old episode for reference:

Real Fifteen To One has 15 contestants, in Round One they are each asked two questions, if they get one wrong they lose one of their three lives, if they get both wrong they are eliminated from the game.
In Round Two the remaining contestants nominate their opponents to take questions, and to try to eliminate them from the game. If they get a question wrong they lose a life, if they get a question right they then get to nominate who takes the next question. This repeats until all but three contestants lose all their lives.
The remaining three move onto the final, and have their lives refilled to three. In the final each question is worth 10 points, and they are competing to get the most points for themselves. They can either take a question for themselves or nominate another contestand and try to eliminate them. Winner is the last one standing or whoever has the most points after 40 questions.

Robot Fifteen To One will have fifteen robots in each heat/episode. In Round One each robot will battle two robots made by me, to represent the two questions. Lose a fight and you lose a life.
Round Two would be much the same except you fight each other. (Example: Helloface nominates RedAce and their robots fight, RedAce wins, Helloface loses a life, and RedAce now nominates.) Fights happen until three are left.
The final would be similar again, taking a question would be fighting one of mine, nominating would be fighting whoever you nominated.
The Grand Final would have the same premise as a regular heat/episode, but would only contain winners/high scorers/finalists.

I would not be competing, but I will be supplying 20 or so robots for questions, and there would be unlimited entries, I need a LOT of entries. Depending on how many entries I get I will change the qualifying rules for the Grand Final accordingly.
DSL MW, unsure whether to make it DSL-S or IRL.

Edit: I would be using the art style and music from the 2014 remake for the splashes and videos.

Thoughts?

While we're on the subject is there going to be an in game option where you can turn off the commentary?
There already is, kinda. It turns off all sound effects as well as voice though.

Will you be doing grudge matches when this is finished?
If I finish this tournament before the holidays end then probably. If I don't then no.
