LRA2 is a spamming idiot and it's beyond me why the hell he hasn't been banned yet He was banned a couple months ago, lest we forget. Since then he has improved, but I've noticed a decline again as of late. We're watching it, I promise you... (The things people are putting in their sigs aren't helping though, since people have started using them he seems to have gotten worse.) So I guess this means that the community is going to retain its instability, and eventually have a flame war that will ultimately lead to its collapse That's what we're here for, to stop it before it gets to that point. If I banned everybody that had ever been in a flame war here, we would have a very empty community! Nine times out of ten we clean the thread, issue a verbal warning, and nothing more becomes of it. People get angry, its understandable. I've even found myself in a few firefights in the past, but it is never allowed to become out of control for long.

I would leave it like that unless its a weight issue, may keep other bots away from your sides/wheels better.

Everybody enough. It was a useless bump, we get it. None of you are helping either.

You should get some better pics, that one is a bit blurry...

And again what the angry duck is trying to say is are you steering around RPB or are you going straight on like the AI would... because he (and I) doubt that your wedges are better then RPB's.

He sort of did tell you how to fix it though, indirectly. Less wedges, use all your weight, battleshots. Although he could have been a little nicer about it, the help was still there.

So he gets flamed for posting like crap and now he's gonna get flamed for posting well? Good way to inspire him, guys.

The plow doesn't last long enough with the slow spinning weapons to make that the only armor.

This is easily the most active my showcase has ever been. Still tuning this thing, although this version is better than the last. Yes you see a pink battery. Yes I am changing that out.

Really long weapons like bars (Mako) help... Far Cry, my disc VS has a hard time hitting bots very far.

The snapper was making contact with the chassis when I tried that before. I may be able to do it with some adjustment but I need to get to work on my RAW stuff.

Inf: one baseplate makes me run into the 7 connection limit.
Spked club was for a little extra defence against hammers and for when it was upside down, but it isn't even there anymore as I've rebuilt it. I'll have pics in a bit as I'm on the other computer.

Update on the side hammer. Now has a black battery which helps a ton, a nifty cannot power 2 snappers. Not sure if I should go with 4 razors and DSA or a longer reach and 6 razors with plastic. Not even sure if plastic will give me enough weight.

put the RADs closer into the middle so bots are less likely to go between the spinners.

those snappers are worse than the green ones.... good luck damaging with them. any popup mw or up needs ddts to work well.

you need more weapons on less pistons. use 2 or 4 pistons and extenders to mount more weapons to each. side connection points make great weapon racks.

All those extenders and razors combined are too much weight for a single snapper... try a single ddt.

I'd like to put in my vote for being completely against this. Everything that mad said, plus the fact that most successful builders including myself spent a long time learning how to stack batteries and such to improve our standard combat bots. Back before I could do it well I would have jumped at the chance to take the easy way out, but I now know that its an important skill that helps separate the newbies from the trained builders and I am proud that I took the time to learn it.
