offs someone actually stick up for me...
Sigh, hoping you wouldn't do this, but it seems you have.

Nar's hit the nail on the head there.
And the reason you talk about is perfectly showcased earlier on in this showcase, inability to take constructive critisicm.

I'm hardly gonna give out lots of advice that is wrong simply to try and show you up, other people would pull me up on that so it would be pointless and make me look worse.
As Nar said, take the critisicm and learn from it and then you will start to be more respected, aswell as ofcourse a better builder.

Or you could ignore it, whine about it, and pretend your bot's perfect as is, then the whole cycle will be repeated (only I'll probably be far more harsh and aggressive) with the next bot you showcase.

And If the bot is a mess, then it's justified.
I remember one of the first bot's I showcased, Nar simply said a gut ripper would destroy it.
You know what I did?
I asked how to fix the problem.

How's the bot type you're assigned chosen?
If there's a decent system for it, I might enter this.

Hardly, it's constructive criticism, can't take it and use it properly, that's your fault, not mine.
Especially considering you've been on here longer than me, there's no excuse really.
And yes, if you want one wedge, atleast make it a DDT wedge as badnik said.

Yeah actually, IMO Taur 2 is the best looking bot there (kind of a surprise if i'm honest).
Anyway, bet's to win, BBB as I'm assuming bullfrog is an un-damaging flipper aswell.

The way I look at it, there are three types of people. "average" people who are the norm being strait, social, etc. Then there are people with abnormal qualities like me and you (I have ADHD) and then, there are pedophiles. That burns to type.
That's either a poor joke, or a failure of logic on a massive scale.

Pics scorpion?
It's in my showcase, but meh

Full body drum SnS, so the bots just go under it and then regret it.

See, it'd be impossible to make a bot like that in stock :P

Don't forget the spike strip wedge that I tried and that was awesome a failure
So you're admiting it now?  :p

And yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and state that my control by chaos can't be beaten by a popup as It just grinds their tops off (Lets see how much sh** hits the fan after that statement).

I'm just seeing many Sheck Spinners and Popups and no different designs.

We should assign designs.
Like JoeBlo has to do a Sheck Spinner, or Fopetx has to do a Flipper

Something like that. (BTTB Much?  :gawe:)
I kinda like that idea, but how about (even though it might be a bit hard to implement) that the type of bot you get, depends on how good a builder you are, so some-one (these are just examples) like Cory has to make a popup and some-one like 123 has to make something like a hammer bot.

Popups and HS (and SnS) are still the most effective bot types in DSL.  It's not really any different from stock.  There are always other effective designs, but they are generally inferior to popups and HS if the two are built equally well.

IMO most of the current unrealism in DSL started when people realized that having a lot of small, light weapons was still better than having one, big weapon despite all the weapons being equally balanced.  That and when I discovered how spin motor power consumption works, which enabled the current style of tiny-chassis-with-3-ants-and-everything-else-external.
While I agree with you on pop ups being probably the most popular design type in stock AND DSL, HS seem to be a lot less common in DSL as in stock.
There's far more flexibility in DSL, you can make effective VS, SS, drums, full-body drums, side hammer, flipper, rammer and full body spinners to name a few in DSL, and most of them are often not effective (or impossible to make at all) in stock.

People seem to whine about the wedge war in DSL, but it's easily avoided and even can be used against the oponents bots (as I am trying to do more in my DSL bots), but in DSL, even the generic VS seem to have wedges, infact the only common stock bots that seem to not have wedges are HS, and even then , if a HS doesn't follow the perfected formula it's gonna get easily beaten by other HS.

Rant over, sorry, just felt like putting in my two cents, I would play stock and I do like the idea of utilising the glitches, but it's just too repetitive IMO.

The filter doesn't work on the word b**** anyway (yes I added the asteriks myself there).
Besides, I agree with noodle, I don't get why people would be offended by single words.

Also, it would depend on the girl herself whether I agree with JB or noodle.
If she's a brat, then fair enough, I agree with noodle, if not, then I agree with JB, it's a bit extreme hating her if she herself is a nice person who just so happens to be more lucky than you.

I completely missed that the first time 0_0

must have been up late approving, sorry Scopion but you have to change those front skirts or the weapons... there is nothing attached else where that it could be attached to IRL
FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU

Fine, I'll fix it, although I'll probably just angle out the sheets more  so the razorz don't cut right through them so I don't have to spend any more weight on them.
TBH I didn't realise untill ounce brought it up  :(
Anyway, would that count as my final update?
